"Karen Bruton" was accumulating unrealized losses through a DITM ES FO calendar. A three day calendar in which the sole purpose was to book a realized gain on the short proceeds while carrying a huge unrealized loss. He fraud fund was structured to pay performance fees on realized gains and ignoring unrealized gains/losses. 1) The calendar was 100 points ITM with essentially zero greeks (same as 100 point OTM calendar trading for pennies). The only purpose was to carry forward large unrealized losses. 2) "Karen Bruton" and her "Hope International" fraud went into the scam calendar trade knowing she was adding an additional $300,000 in losses with each roll. People have received 10-15 year sentences for similar frauds re: similar monies. Imagine booking a guaranteed $300K MONTHLY loss to perpetuate the scam.
