If the rumor is true, those 'overseas investors' seem to be employing a dynamic asset allocation strategy, which is a fancy way of saying "buy high and sell low".
Commodities are dropping like a rock. That money has to go somewhere and I'm pretty sure it won't go into bonds. IMO it is going to go into tech stocks until commodities or some other investment can show a greater promise of return.
Could it be rates going higher in England? Wow 50 economists surveyed only one got the call right! Not sure if the world really needs another economist...
