Help record the history of day trading. Contribute your story at http://echo.gmu.edu/daytrading.

The ECHO Project at George Mason University has created a simple and brief online survey to record the experiences of day traders. In particular, we'd like to know how individuals participate in this extraordinary movement that has changed the landscape of the financial marketplace.

The survey responses can be posted on the web anonymously or remain kept from public view. All responses will be permanently archived and made available to historians and researchers.

The ECHO project also conduct other studies in the history of science and technology, as well as the September 11 Digital Archive (http://911digitalarchive.org) in collaboration with the Smithsonian Museum of American History.

The ECHO project and the History of Day Trading Memory Bank at the Center for History and New Media is an academic venture to allow people to contribute their personal story to the historic record. We have no financial motivation in this project, nor do we share email addresses with anyone without asking, and receiving, your explicit permission. Please visit our policy page for further information: http://echo.gmu.edu/about/policies.html.

    Thank you for your consideration,
    ECHO staff
