The main purpose is to prevent automated spammers from flooding the message board with bullshit over the course of a minute or two.
Your thread is nothing but calling out trades - no discussions, no reasoning. For your purposes, you are better off using Twitter to call out the trades than trying to deal with the limitations of a message board like ET.
