I become more convinced every day that we are living in the 21st century version of the Roman principate. For encryption, I like the twofish algorithm. The fact that NSA endorses rjindael makes many wary of it.
"The Code Book", Simon Singh, ISBN 0-385-49531-5 "Puzzle Palace", James Bamford, ISBN 0-313-28546-2 "Veil", Bob Woodward, ISBN 0-671-60117-2 I personally believe that PGP doesn't need to be "broken" at all.
Me too. I vastly underestimated the governments ability to overreach. The genie is out of the bottle now, and there is no putting her back in. Orwell was 30 years early, but considering the time frame, that ain't too bad.
Its not the right vs the left its the state vs you! Does anybody believe the leviathan can actually be reigned in at this point? In the near term we are fucked....Times will get tougher, government more despotic and totalitarian. But there is hope. Tax receipts are plummeting, pensions and entitlements out of control. The beast is beginning to starve itself. Debt has gone parabolic and will never be repaid. Hold tangibles, stay out of debt, stay liquid, befriend neighbors and like minded thinkers. The time for real change will come when the debt bubble collapses.
Let's just make that the "others" are deserving of the bullet. FYI, that ain't your neighbor, the dem or repub down the street, or the average guy you happen to have some disagreements with. It would be the no good mother-fuckers who run this government along with their corporate buddies. Of course they'll be well insulated and protected, watching the show from afar while we slaughter each other for a loaf of bread. Ain't it always that way?
