    wrangled,

I'm a fan of options for high levage trading with less risk.

I mean you can use one trade a day for the YM but gaps will get you and sudden drops might be you also. I never really thought about it.

Will you look at the YM during the day or just once a day ie at close?

You could always trade off the 60 min or the 15 min chart and swing trade that way; not really sure how that would work thou; due to the above mentioned.

  2. djx my big moneys made off options the last 2 years. i've been doing well with the ym's but i know that can tunr in a sec. for instance when i see a huge setup on options i'll go 6 figures plus onm a 2 year leap postion. this past nov i started scaling into 400 leap sbux buts for yeaR 2007. I SCALED IN AS IT RAN 7 PTS. THEN IN JAN FEB IT CRASHED 17 PTS AND I KILLED IT. too me futures are more up and down and i jsut don't think i can lay that kind of money in them and sleep.

  3. I get more confused as the rules grow..can we disclose a concrete system with never changing rules? I seriously need the help. When do we enter and when do we exit and where do we set the stops....??? Is there a chart with the concrete system showing all 3 of the above events? that works each day.......seriously..

  5. Porgie,

Instead of complaining and disturbing this thread, why don't you share with us some entry and exit examples of your system (if it truly exists..)? After all are we not like family ?:D

  6. I have not seen a system discussed here that can withstand the storms....but the forum is intertaining, I would just hate to see a novice trade anything promoted here..gamblers anonymous has a phone number.....................JM talk to a banker about wiring funds....if you want to buy a tomato go to a fruit stand.......get off the school boy excuses if we are going to run with the big dogs.......Jm either is a very smart schoolboy or he does have a mentor or both...He is not wavering in his strategy...eventually JM you will be your best adviser.....if you have what it takes..............but your emotions are dangerously hot...if your mentor is not jerking on the reins shame on him..........volente...using short charts and lagging sma's will keep you behind. I looked at your stuff for too long before getting outside the box......for years...I looked at what everybody looked at which is exactly what you are looking at.....the 9 and 18 sma's are default settings on most programs..........ever wonder why 95% fail? they do the same things...over and over...if any of above is offensive then we are too touchy....

anyone having a hard time in this market?

That early sudden drop looked not so nice.

was that caused by some news? I thought for sure we were going north from here
