my 0.02, start a journal, open a second account and post your account balance EOD after every trade ( no need to post your actual signals. This is hard to game because account additions and withdrawals can be easily verified by third party verification services). If you're as good as you say you are, after 6 months you'll get more money than you can handle. In the meantime try and be a little more professional. Instead of begging for $5 donations, work on getting your CTA license (Commodity Trade Advisor) from the NFA / SEC . You can then sell the trade signals and raise the funds needed to trade your signals with larger size yourself and/or you can manage client accounts professionally. There's a lot of $ floating around looking for diversification.

btw I suspect there are quite a few traders here whose performance is way better than yours. I looked at your signal history, some good trades with tough entries, but overall nothing really earth shattering.

We think alike. I already told him most of what you just said. He is not a good listener though, so don't hold your breath...

Since he was good to us and "taught" us how to trade, I think a proper farewell is due from us. So why don't we help him out and come up with a few possible new handles? In this case we would know for sure what his new ID is.

Here are my choices for the new and improved Blackguard :

    - Whiteguard
    - Nostoploss
    - Givemefive
    - Only$5
    - Simplythebest

    Oh, I almost forgot:

  3. I really don't understand why you folks are so patient?

You should have a little more faith in your own abilities and in your own resouces.

I can tell you that I would not pay 5 cents to hear Blackguards commentary. It is not because I dislike him personally. I simply don't see an edge in his system. I took a long look at the calls, comparing them to historical charts. Frankly there is nothing there aside from historical tendency. For those who care, that means his "system" can stop working at any time. Poof! gone!

From my point of view what you have is a person who is enjoying a momentary and transient success. This "success" is very similar to a person enjoying a nice run in Las Vegas. I don't see any commentary about risk management or position sizing. Perhaps he doesnt understand the importance of the concept.

On the other hand, taking some elses calls may be what you folks are looking to do. Hey, if thats so, have at it babe.

Again, you are pretty much on the clock, and when it stops working I am sure that some of you will be bitching about how unfair it was and how you got used.

Its not what I would call a professional approach, but it is characteristic of retail traders, and it is why chatrooms make money. Ultimately there are a number of folks who like to be told what to do and don't want to do too much thinking.

Okay by me either way, but I just want to be clear on who the adults are.

  4. I will be posting some calls. I would appreciate receiving a few slices of bread... in beak size portions, or some ground corn with dandelions. If i don't receive any of these, then my droppings...i mean postings... will stop!!!

For the record, Dow futures are down by 35 points at 9 am....
    Some moneytrain.

I always said, the higher % of upgaps was due to seasonality. For the next year I will keep a record upgaps vs. downgap. My bet is that there isn't more than 60-40 or less advantage for upgaps.... So one need actually a strategy (stop loss) if one wants to take advantage of it, you can not just go blindly and buy at the close....

was up +18 on this position on the move up to 10830 before the pullback. Waiting for the last 12 killed the position. MRC taking off for New Years celebrations?

  10. mhase.................I watched your trade last night and it was beautiful.........I was pulling for you but when you didn't go to breakeven when 30 was approached i can only say I am disappointed in your trade management unless that was because system rules didn't allow moving to breakeven...........breakeven is good.......losing is the only bad thing that can happen to us .........risk/reward out of balance....if u were asleep excuse please....Happy New Year...sincerely george
