    Don't worry about it right now. Tues., Weds., and Thurs. of expiration week are when all of the erratic movements actually take place. You can't judge yourself by your performance this week. Next week is the beginning of the fall season. It'll probably start slow, though.

  6. Yeah, I was thinking I was the master of trend lines with a 70% success rate over the last few weeks. YM is quite trendy which is good, but the last 2 days have been apparently random.

  7. what limits do must guys put there stops? i was thinking 10-13 pts as 20pts seems alot.

  8. the cbot doesn't have true stops on the book. most sofware packages allow synthetic stops which if your sytem goes down you're screwed. as anyone had a problem with not getting a fill on a sharp quick move

    I use a 20 point stop as I was constantly getting whipsawed with a smaller one. Heck YM can move 10-14 points in a 2 minute interval Before resuming the trend. As far as system failure there are ways to hedge using open out cry traded futures. This is where having a top notch broker who anwsers on the second ring comes in handy.
