  1. did anyone go long today after the initial drop ?

of course if you then did not sell out on the high

tick etc readings ... you might as well not have made the trade

    :p

The real question is did anyone cover at 640 as I predicted we would hit it yesterday when YM was 710 ? So you missed the first chance to short at 710 ? Did you miss the second ?

Thunderdog, Blackguard is referring to another message board that I started posting on back in 1999.

    5 and 2
2 for scalping and finding entries and exits, 5 for keeping with the trend.

  8. Man, reading these trades are frustrating... as I lose a few hundred a day. Impressive results guys.

    jzlucas,

How long have you been trading YM ?
What is your win ratio ?
Do you have a trading plan ?

  10. 2 Weeks until I can finally start trading YM. Still have to fund my account, but by this time next week I should be sending the money to the broker.

I am excited, and hope to average a minimum of $50 dollar gain per day, with one contract. $50, because I will only be able to trade the last hour of the market because of school.

$50 is nice, but more realistically I'll be aiming for at least $100 gain per day, but $50 sounds good for the first few days/couple weeks. Luckily, I have a mentor, so this should be no problem.

After I get settled in and bring in consistant profits I'll move up to 2 contracts as I see more benefits trading multiple contracts instead of only one.

But good luck to everyone. Today certainly was a nice day for trading YM.
