so close volente... that was close call yet again. Volumeless rally the last 2 days, it has to fall sooner or later.
Only around 17 dollars made today on my day off of school with commissions. I can't complain, today is only the second day i have been able to trade the whole day... but I am learning so much and am greatful for it.
Ask your guru to tell you how he defines a choppy market. It's good to sit these days out since traders tend to give back all their profits because of the B.S. action.
Oh no, he didn't like today either... most of the day was spent joking about how little movement there was. I had several opprotunities, but I just wasn't into today, it is the first time I ever seen a day like this, that is why I said it was a good experience for me. It was a crummy day. Same thing in the P&L thread in the other forum. Everyone seemed to have a bad day, or at least not their best. Figures it had to come on my day off. But it was fun regardless. I learned a lot and am really happy with how much I have progressed. Still a ton more work to do, but in 2 1/2 more months, I'll be able to trade full time, and I would like to post P&L every day.
BTW, I kinda thought today was going to be a slow day today, because of where we were at on the daily chart. Notice how similar it looks to the last time it touched resistance, so I was kinda expecting this, but never experienced it before. I'm just curious as to what people think will occur tomorrow... a move upwards and break resistance possibly, or a move down to resume the trading range..... any thoughts?
To short I'm waiting for a break below 10660. To go long I'm waiting for a break above 10760. I'll let you guys have all the fun in the middle of the trading range
I was simultaneously watching ER2 today and saw a fairly nice downtrend going on while YM chewed away. I've often wondered if it wouldn't be better to trade a coupla futures instead of concentrating on just one.
I haven't been around for a while, but am happy to see that this thread has grown to over 400 posts. Good trading to all. Big Bob
