That took 18 months to accomplish, I have not been trading much in index futures lately they really are loosing my attention.
I recall you posting a photo of your workstation, and I think you said you earned your living from it, now its your turn post one of your accounts. If you don't I will understand.
hi rickshaw, Just trying to understand the only market I have not traded yet: forex.. Did you go long USD/CHF 18 months ago ? If so, the long term chart shows that is was 1.31 around 4 '04 It is still about 1.31 Thanks esu2
I trade in and out of currencies that are good carry trades, right now GBP,USD,AUD are good long carry opportunities. IMO USD looks the best. Hope this answers your question.
LOL, I see great minds think alike, rickshaw. I'm in 6 currency pairs right now on long term carry. Seems neat-o so far. I flip between FX and index futures and really don't look at much else.
Way to go Rickshaw. I have been trading for over a decade and have switched vehicles a few times over a year ago --I made Forex my main vehicle. Especially, the EUR/USD and the GBP/USD. I know quite a few traders that were large Eurex fixed income traders who have switched to forex as well. yield cary is the way to go. The crosses can be ruthless trenders with great carry from time to time.
What do you mean by "good carry trade" ? Are you swing trading these for several months ? How do you determine the trend and what stops do you usually use ? Thanks esu2 I trade in and out of currencies that are good carry trades, right now GBP,USD,AUD are good long carry opportunities. IMO USD looks the best. Hope this answers your question.
