Porgie since you like numbers, find every trade I have posted here on YM. Now figure out the % that are winners.
Now figure out the avg num of point per win.
A 10 point stop is to loose when YM can move 15 points in 2 minutes and take your stop out before you make money.
I trade using a theory of 20 point intervals. If you spend all day waiting for ma's to cross you are not ahead of the crowd.

Do not like the gap underneath us.

Yes my analysis says down to. It´s based on the Volente indicator. :p

But honestly there are some important things up there at 10702 for Dow Jones.

    Great trading Volente!

  8. volente_00, what order types do you use mostly? limit, stop, market?

I've been paper trading using market entry with limit PT and a trailing SL and it seems OK. I'm just looking to see what others do with this YM beast.

  10. I was reading some of the posts by porgie....

believe me, volente knows what he is doing. I've read his posts for about 5 years and he is one heck of a trader. I've seen him post option trades that return 100% in a day. Never mind the ones that return that much in a few days.

for all you guys just getting to know him, believe me its best to learn and observe rather than question him.

He's one of the few legit guys on boards like these. One of only a handful I've known in many years.
