  1. why don't you let someone who knows what they're doing make calls for you?

why be stubborn and continue to lose money? 95% of those who try this lose money. facts are facts.

    just a thought,

  2. some points:

1)newbies may not know, but futures are a zero-sum game. For every winner there is a loser and vice versa.

2)5% of players make all the money. Facts are facts.

3)95% of people who try this fail. People flock to the markets and think they're going to click some keys and make easy money. Heh, they might as well stick their heads in a guillotine. Fact is they're going to slaughter.

    Can't escape the facts.

  3. OK, I hear ye, so what was your risk on that last trade - unless their is something you dont want to share, it would seem to me you had 1-1 risk/reward.

I mean, you want people to give you their money so you can trade on their behalf - fine, but what can you prove about your capabilities?

    Regards.

  7. I was looking at a chart of DJX and its almost uncanny that I have caught the downmove from 10550 to about 10350.

then I got the bottom at 10200ish and both near test of that bottom at 10220ish and 10235ish.

the one short and three longs were all posted live here on this thread.

the only up day I missed was the late afternoon reversal day we had 8 trading days ago on a wednesday (no trade then).

I have to say that's pretty damn incredible.

  8. You just can't help yourself, can you? Someone would think that, if you were so good that you would not need other people's money to trade. At your smoke-and-mirror rate of return based on your "live" calls, the potential compounding is staggering for anyone willing to do the math. And even if you did want to manage other people's money, it is hard to imagine that someone so capable would have to resort to such low-level, grass-roots marketing as message boards, which are usually the domain of low-rent junk dealers insofar as money management is concerned. What's wrong with this picture? Why does it just not add up for some reason?
Good point. Therefore, it follows that if anyone proposes to make big money for others in the markets, that there is a 95% chance that he is full of shit. That is a good thing for prospective clients of yours to keep in mind. Thank you for that.

Oh, and do have a good weekend.
    :)

hey guys I was gone today, I had three more trades near the close for -3, -8 and +16, so overall ok day, I missed my swing entry which would have been +80/90 but could/would/shoulda (I wasnt at the comp), it looks like a triple bottom on the bigger timeframes so lets see how we ejected on monday but end of month/beginning of the month typically bullish, as I said earlier it felt like a squeeze and thats what we got.. I'm not looking for any follow thru until we actually get some but it LOOKs like we are set for some kinda rally here (after 3 failed breakdown attempts) which is also consistent with us being in a conslidation on bigger time frames (bouncing around inside), so I'll continue to look for swing "scalps" for now, anyway decent week (better last week) so have a good weekend c u next week! I personally don't put much credence in this move, NYSE ==STILL= showing mroe new lows than new highs so this is junk IMHO.

Hopefully we can see some of the regulars here kinda dead today!
