  4. Lost my ass shorting at every resistance area today. who the fk or what the fk is moving this market with no friggin pullbacks. After last weeks crackish selloff this move up is seriously amazing to me. Can anyone explain this shit move up.

NYSE Stocks at 52 week high 18
NYSE Stocks at 52 week low 38

    NASDAQ 52 week high 24
    NASDAQ 52 week low 36

wtf? and the YM acts like it swallowed a years worth of viagra. Afterhours its trading more volume than a regular open. WTF is going on? are people hoarding up on YM before the hurricane?

I'm thinking its probably goldman or morgan stanley running the market higher so the huge amounts of puts they sold expire worthless this friday. This is the only thing that can explain such a crackish move up.

  5. Haha... I have him blocked... so what does he do... he tries to get to other people now.

This guy has no life, he insists on bugging people... I would suggest everyone block him or something, it's just dumb.

  6. Jmow, I think you are ahead of many people your age regarding maturity. But, there are also things called "wisdom" that is learned thought trial and error. Here's a quote from Twain that explains so much. There is a little bit of writing about the quote also... I did not write this but cut and pasted it.

"Mark Twain had an interesting saying about the Teenage Illusion Module: "When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years." Of course Twain’s father had not changed at all—it was Twain himself who changed. Twain’s father became smart about the time Twain’s TIM collapsed. Twain simply could not see how smart his parent was until then. That problem afflicts all teenagers. As soon as you realize, for whatever reason, that you don’t have all of the answers but that many of the adults standing all around you actually do, you begin to become an adult."

Tell us more about your YM trading though. Have you been doing pretty good point wise real time?

  7. As for my trading... I have been doing so well. After stopping real trading and working on patience and fear. I am very happy with the results. I don't feel anything when I trade anymore. It still brings up my confidence.

Plus my mentor sent me 2 videos on trading. Both about CBOT. One was a dvd that had a short thing about CBOT and types of traders there are... and then he sent me a VHS that PBS did on CBOT and has tons of trader interviews and shows clerks and stuff, shows how people trade and shows the hand signals on the floor and stuff. Definately inspirational stuff. It makes me wish I was living in Chicago and could work there.

But with the streak of good days I have had, I don't see any more need to continue with simulated, because it would just be building false confidence if I still had those demons while live trading.

So I'm probably going to wait until next Monday to pick it back up.

But I have been inspired lately, and it has hit me that I can do this, and I already know I'm capable........ my only problem is executing, everything else I'm excelling at. I just need to be able to hit that buy and sell button without any feelings. And I feel as if i'm still progressing the learning curve, but I think every day I'm just jumping that curve.

So still work to be done as always...... it is just a matter of time. Still amazes me how long I have been trading, after hearing so many stories about people giving up, and i'm still here..... I might be broke, but I'm here :)

I just wish YM was traded 24/7....... that would be amazing.

Here are some charts of my simulated trading.

I haven't really prepared anything for the forums, so most of them I just sent to my mentor, but there ya go.

I don't know what those charts are... but those are my most recent ones I sent to my mentor... First ones are oldest.

Had one bad day where I executed too early, but other than that, doing pretty well.

Any constructive criticism is always welcomed, can't argue with someone that is honestly trying to help.
