  1. Have we reached the point where we cannot even respectfully inquire about someone's motivation? If you don't see the value in determining someone's motivation, then I wish you all the luck in the world...

You refer to "critical" posters in an implicitly negative manner. The word "critical" has a number of different meanings depending, in part, on context. One such meaning is "exercising or involving careful judgment or judicious evaluation." While we are all asking various questions of ourselves, you may wish to ask yourself why you have chosen a more negative interpretation. (Hint: you may wish to refer to the last sentence of the next paragraph.)

As an aside, while it is most gratifying that some people are responding to my post addressed to volente, please keep in mind that I asked him the question. Further, your immediate running to his aid and defense raises another question: is this a trading site or a cult site? Are you people businessmen or disciples?

  2. Thunderdog,

I think it is a shame but this site seems to be full of people who think others are not capable of exercising their own judgement. Sorry to be critical:)

At least your post gave me a good laugh. I have no intentions of following any poster who posts here but I do like to have a look at how other people do it.

  3. Stalker

    Stalker

Jack Hershey said one thing about people here at ET that i think is right on the spot (someone might argue that you could include him two) - "4 out of 5 people at ET are rather right than make money". First I thought he was joking, but it´s so true...
Why all this bitching? It´s like a kindergarten. There are threads where people speak about things I believe is completely wrong. Do I bother to write something there? No way.
You listen to the one´s who says something that interests you, you don´t believe a single word they say until you see with your own eyes that what they said about the market is true, and then you try to make money. F**k who´s right or wrong in this fictive ET world. I think some people just spend too much time infront of the computer...

  4. Fair enough. All I asked of volente was if he disclosed the method for which he is giving his entries and exits. If so, fine (although I, personally, would not do that). If not, then what is the point? My post was no more and no less.

  5. And yet this is your third response to posts of mine with which you do not agree and believe are completely wrong. How ironic.

  7. Target HIT...

Reason for the trade: I look for prices to go down, so that I can then BUY it and it has not much room to go back down. I don't use a STOP under these circumstances. It is also called picking bottoms...

  8. Carnage... that wasn't the bottom and that would only mean that I got more bottoms to pick.
