    I've been following this thread and your posts for some time now and I am sorry to hear about your initial troubles. Its funny how much different real trading is from paper trading... Trades look so much easier in hindsight without the pressure and excitement of the moment. I think if you stick with it you will eventually get the feel for trading the YM, but I fear that with such a small account you are not giving yourself enough cushion/time to reach that level. I've recently started sim trading the YM myself based on S/R and pivots and can say that I wouldn't touch this product with an account smaller then $10k just to practice with. Unless your mentor is helping you in many details of your trading plan, it will take a great deal of trial and error to figure out the best stops, time to hold and conquering problems with discipline. Don't rush yourself, because it can sabotage your dream. Wishing you all the best.
