Given new evidence i unliked your post.Never followed your numbers, liked your story of hardship and perseverance, didn't expect to see "cut and paste" chapter in there. Lesson learned i guess.....
I almost feel sad for exposing this fraudster and his con tricks. It was interesting watching other ET members fall for his crap, thinking he was trading for real. The psychology behind wanting to believe that these types of returns were possible, i suppose it is the same psychology that makes people want to believe god actually exists.
https://collective2.com/details/110646585 "Too all subs...fear not. The best is coming soon. YM MAGIC! Trading the YM exclusively. Minimal drawdowns, and profits of 100% monthly. Consistently. I'm sure you've heard words like these before. But I assure you you have never seen one as myself. Stay tuned."
Well thats cool. Does that mean he's using real money? I guess it doesn't matter. As I understand it he can't cheat the time stamps. Guess we'll see what he's really made of ... it'll be fun to watch. I wish him the best of luck.
50% Drawdown, so increases size from 5 lots to 10 lots. Whats he going to do if continues to lose, increase to 20 lots? Does Collective2 consider real world margin requirements, or can you bet 100 lots with a 10K account? You cant even trade 10 YM lots with a 6K account at IB, although you can with some other brokers.
Raw profit is $1,670, without commissions and slippage estimates. That works out as 1.5 ticks per contract per trade. C2 seem to deduct 2.8 ticks on each YM every trade to estimate costs. So a net loss after costs. Even if you use half of what C2 are using, it shows retail doesnt really stands a chance day trading when making around 50 trades per week.
