    Darkhorse, welcome back. Now that the pleasantries are out of the way.

    Value Line has a convertibe bond survey that is similar to the other ratings they have. It may be worth looking at the trial subscription which gives you reports on the whole universe. Buying converts and shorting the common is a pretty popular strategy, using a tool like this to set up 10 or so of these, rather than just cvc xct would probably work nicely.

    As an aside, I do get the weekly value line and don't think much more than the trial is worth the price. I paid 250 or so, so they do some specials, but the market moves so fact that unless you buy and hold it is not a practical trading tool.
