How so? What makes a long-term investment have roughly the same risk as a short-term?

    Can you predict the future?

If you look back through previous Fed tightenings, the markets will typically rally as it indicates a strong economy and good profit growth. The question is how long does the rally last?

  8. Encouraging economic news is assured until after the mid-term elections. The question is, will the market believe the news?

  9. Alll I know is the Fed Chairman, Mr Ben Bernanke told me on Friday that "this time is different" and the economy is growing strong and the inverted yield curve means nothing this time.....

He is more knowledgeable than anyone here...... and I have no choice than to believe him.... *cough*:D
