I really can't say. I don't trade the way he does but I also know there isn't just one "way". All I know is there is a lot of info here regarding him and his method and, while it would take a great deal of time and energy, you could read up and determine whether his teachings are a waste of time or not. If you are truly interested I mean.
I don't come to ET to learn how to trade. I don't sub to any threads. I follow a few ppl that are professionals in the industry. And it's entertaining.
So Jack Hershey What are your thoughts for 2014. Where will the S&P be next year? Up? down? or sideways? Need your analysis.
Why is Jack Hersey not taking any interest in this thread? I would imagine, if he was real, then he would contribute to this thread. Contribute in some meaningful way.
So agassi. In the past I have cited the next years activity. It was not well recieved. As the year passed it worked out as I suggested, though. Everyone should learn how to do anticipation. A year is not difficult to anticipate. It sounds like you want a prediction. I have responded to you in the past and you feel it is my job to participate here. It actually may not be. Mostly I try to dialog on specifics of what you as a person can do as a next step. Technically I have a complete system and some people do the work to learn. You have proven you are immune to doing "work" for a decade. So good luck through the next ten years. Please refrain from real trading for the forseeable future.
The typical Hershey detractor is an interesting phenomenon: If one really wanted to find out, there are records available, of course. For example, for swing trading equities, Spyder actually called out trades for a whole year and ended up with 200 percent or so, using very conservative risk parameters (much more if he had included his short trades, which he did not). So- if JH were really all "gibberish", how is it possible that Spyder made more money with Jack's method in part-time swing-trading than most people on this site make in several years staring at a screen all day (and that is excluding the majority here who loses until they blow out and vanish)? Look up the trades. If I were Jack, I would have stopped posting years ago, of course... So-what is the reason why people cannot even rise to the minimum discrimination level required to see if perhaps there is something to be learned (don't take my word for it, find out for yourself)... Perhaps online trading attracts a kind of intellectually low level person that did not succeed in anything else either BECAUSE he/she is too lazy to do even the minimum amount of work to be good at anything. So they drift into this arena because it deceivingly looks like an easy way to make money. Then they read a post, don't understand it immediately because it is written by a person intellectually far above their level, contains hints and allusions to things you never heard of, and- instead of trying to see if you can learn a bit- you reflexively call the writer names. You demand that people to give you information, proof etc....it probably all comes down to lazyness. Good luck with actually learning a profitable method, which takes some work (=drills): How would such a person ever sit down and do an IAS or the DAS, or make the minimum effort to unlock the (magical) intraday DU/FRV thing/ the catenary......but such is the way of the world I guess. It's all your choice. So, now I am probably not going to post another thing for a few years...
You couldn't be more wrong. The lazy one here is you. Somebody claimed with good reason that Jack's verbiage is a waste of time. You say that's not true. Then you say we should do the research to prove you right. That's assbackwards. The burden of proof is on *you* to demonstrate that wading through JH's word salad isn't a complete waste of time. Where are your links? Where are the summary pages of Spyder's trades verifying his success? This is elementary stuff, and you have completely failed to do any of it. As eminent scientist Carl Sagan said, extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence. Jack has made many extraordinary claims, and his sycophants like you back him up. So where's the evidence? Stop whining how Jack's critics won't do your homework for you, man up and show us the evidence. Or STFU.
