Yet another easy 5 pts

  1. Lot of skeptics out there. I think if someone can articulate a method and show how they used it, they are adding value.

Didn't say I believed him. Does it matter? I'm short from 924.50 with a 4 pt. stop. Will exit on close if not stopped out. Does anyone really care? Nah, we're just killing time while the market does it's thing. BTW, the first 30 min. range was high 928.50 - low 924.00, so if Wally got 5 pts. out of a 4.5 range that's just fine with me.

  4. Wally, why not silence the naysayers by posting a trade as you take the entry rather than in retrospect. All it will take is 1 trade to shut most people up.

  5. No doubt. I tried to shut people up by posting 5 to 6 real time trades - all fib trades - and they all worked out in my favor - but it didn't shut anyone up.

Will Wally post a trade - I am betting negatory!!!

By the way, maybe it is because I don't look at the fibs anymore, but a .618 off off of the fist 6 bars of the day? I don't see it. I do see a very nice .382 from the closing bar of yesterday.

  6. He is full of shit - I caught 4 pts on the decline from 10:30 and am sitting with another 4 or so from the 11:20 bar. Fibs?.........No way....Gann baby!

  7. You're an absolute genius!!

Quick, start a website!! Then continue posting here to promote your new "get rich quick scheme!"

    Your motto could be:

<b>"The Sloth's way to easy profits -- imagine maintaining your lazy deadbeat lifestyle while mindlessly extracting profits from a market that owes you cash!"</b>

Now for the real kicker -- you could co-market this new venture with, YES YOU GUESSED IT -- one Mr. Don Bright!

So why is Gann superior Sarasota? Aren't they similar? I don't know much about either so forgive my ignorance.

Regarding Wally's trading method on the first 30-min bar, it seems the market changes every 3 months, so proving longevity of the method would be more impressive than a couple months of results. Does it work over a period of time Wally?

  9. Fib clusters or commonalities work - where you combine a .382 and a .618 retracement within a point of each other on the ES. But the subjectivity comes in. Where to buy? In front of the fibs or in back, etc. The Gann stuff is just the Square of Nine interpreted in a slightly different manner. Won't go into the details, but very little subjectivity.

  10. I am glad to hear you are doing fine.

My take is it mostly comes down to having a method and the conviction to stick with it.

I for one don't have a method yet for the ESX and that's prolly the most important reason why I lose. I have excellent psychology and excellent money management, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Does anyone has an idea for a simple discretionary method? I don't like fib and ganns and macd's and all that shit. Just plain common sense please..

Well, eventually I find something, I am a winner, not a quitter!!

ps. the method has to have the potential for huge gains of course ;-)
