Just so we don't forget the crux of my post: The average law-abiding citizen doesn't realize that 'hand(s) in pocket' is a threat.
Blacks are around 26% of those killed by police in recent years. Armed or unarmed, the racial proportion is the same. The "police are killing unarmed black men" narrative is just a lie. 26% of those killed by cops, 13% of the population. Sounds bad until you accept that blacks account for over half of homicide offenders, and are several times more likely than whites to commit violent crimes of all sorts. (Everybody, of course, knows this - with the possible exception of Gen Z suburbanites who have grown up bathed in propaganda, and interact with the world entirely through TikTok and Instagram) More crime -> more interactions with cops -> more police shootings. As for the detail of specific cases... the USA is a big and violent country where injustices sometimes occur, and I daresay they sometimes occur to blacks. But the deification and worship of low life street criminals is just f'ing weird.

I thought when you turned your back on a cop and went for your car or to flee you were supposed to be shot in the back....oh forgot...it was a white guy.
