Location, location, and location... It all depends on where you live and what media you read / listen to. Also, typically when police are looking for a criminal that's still at large (not captured)...the race is mentioned as part of the description with a picture if available no matter where you're living. Don't lose sight of the bigger picture. This is New York and any crime incident on public transportation, buildings in an unusual way...its initially seen as a potential terrorist act and that alone is why the media grasp onto the story so fast with heavy coverage, especially in New York. In contrast, after the person is captured...this is where you guys get fixated on the race game as if you're butt hurt when in reality you most likely live in the city where these crimes are occurring. Simply, too many people develop their persona around stories in the media. It's a sad way to live your life and it opens the door to being a racist simply because the media plays with your head and/or has a political agenda that's owned by people heavily involved in politics. Seriously, I've lived in several major urban cities in the world and a few rural areas in the world...stories like this are by those that most likely have never lived outside of one place considering there are worst stories never mentioned that occurred on the same day...not a big deal unless you live in the same city or live nearby. Think about that carefully, if I see someone consistently mentioning crime in Miami or the Miami area and rarely mentioning crime in different cities especially when the other crimes are worst... it's a good assumption that's where they're living to feel like every criminal trash in that area is impacting their life. wrbtrader
What is mind blowing is nobody is talking about the fact that blacks if arrested by police refuse to be handcuffed and submit. None of the parents apparently, tell their kids that do not resist and scuffle with the police. In this recent case, the black guy was scuffling with the policeman and trying to grab the policeman's taser. That taser can be lethal in the hands of someone not trained to use it so, is as deadly, as a gun if misused. And that is the reason the policeman shot the black guy. Yeah, it is always the policeman's fault unless, exonerated otherwise. Even then, the policeman loses his job and his whole family is threatened with death in the process. Darren Wilson of Ferguson, Missouri lost his job and his family threatened although, he only killed Mike Brown in self-defense, after his head and shoulders were pounded into the pavement by the larger and stronger Mike Brown when he tried to arrest him over stealing. Obama also, had the entire DOJ investigate Darren Wilson to charge him with anything. They found nothing to charge him with.
