I have a big issue with the warming crowd, why do only they get to say what should be done?

Assume their projections are true, the cost of simply adapting may be lower than the cost of stopping it. Earth worshippers want to beleive some sort of mystical pristine state exists. I don't trust the warming folks, they are the new home of the america hating communists.

  2. Anybody can make suggestions about what should be done, and in fact the original ideas behind emissions markets were suggested by Republicans.

Well that kind of says it all, doesn't it?

  3. I don't know if Gore is overstating the case or not, but it is very clear that the Arctic ice is disappearing at an alarming rate which is much faster than the most pessimistic IPCC projections:

  6. If global warming was actually true then it should be encouraged. Far too many places on this planet are way too cold.

After all, what looks more appealing to you?

while this was not directed to me. I note the church changed its mind Galilleos book in the 17th century not the 1990s. (the pope issued an apology in 1990 but that is not when the church changed its mind) . Get your facts straight. Additionally much of science at the time rejected Gallileo's theory because they could not detect the parallax they were looking for.

Finally Galilleo was friends with the Pope at the time at the time of his second hearing - so what most people think happened did not really happen.
