Over a century ago, there was already a plan for a single ethnostate, one that might tolerate a few well-behaved Arabs or Christians, on license.

The two-state solution has long served as a diplomatic sedative: something to soothe international conscience while settler-colonial reality took root.

A stall tactic with good PR, giving occupation the cover of negotiation, and an illusion of fairness. Some states are more equal than others.

Oslo wasn’t a pathway to two state peace. It was Palestinians negotiating the floor plan of their holding cell. Break them. Punish them for being broken. Repeat. All while settlements metastasized.

They created insurgents when the PLO was taking too long to die.

    Very interesting.
Biden imo basically started the ball seriously rolling when committing weapons to Israel in the blink of an eye when Hamas foolishly began the war which it could never win.
Trump is a continuation of Biden.
Both Biden and Trump brainwashed by the Zionist Lobby which has immense control within American gummint, but the Evangelicals too brainwashed and powerful.

    Palestinians in Gaza are stuffed.

Imo Israel and the sympathies toward Zionism Judaism, Christianity are so deeply rooted in global societies that it seems to me we are hurtling down a slippery slope of no return.
Humans cannot or do not want to switch off their delusions.

The force of Judaism and Christianity too strong.
Some would say this is proof of God's might.
I'm thinking the time of humanity is nearly finished.
Some think from here we go to Heaven or hell, some to lounge about in eternal bliss, others to writhe in eternal agony, neither are true.

What to Know About Trump's $45 Million Military Parade, Which Is Taking Over D.C. on His 79th Birthday
The president is celebrating himself, and the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army, with a massive display of military might and a "no protesters allowed" attitude...

"It's going to be an amazing day," Trump told reporters on Tuesday, June 10. “We have planes. We have all sorts of things. And I think it's going to be great. We're going to celebrate our country for a change."

A continuation of the warmongering attitude.

It has always seemed to me that US "Christians" were shaped into useful idiots.

From the beginning, there have been factions within Zionism, not all Jews, and not all Zionists, but some powerful and persistent ones, who saw the modern Israeli state not as the endpoint but the starting point for a civilizational restoration. In that framework:

    Gaza is not the goal.

The West Bank isn’t the red line.

The 1967 borders were never accepted internally.

"Greater Israel" reaches from the Nile to the Euphrates in some interpretations, but more concretely includes southern Lebanon, the Golan, all of the West Bank, and potentially parts of Sinai and Jordan.

And yes, American evangelical Christians, particularly those influenced by dispensationalist theology (the “Left Behind” crowd), have been critical foot soldiers in this project. Not for Israel per se, but because they believe it fulfills Biblical prophecy.

I'm resigned to a parade tank firing at him, and still missing.

While the propaganda machine was in full operation, western sheeple were sitting in front of TV's lapping it up and wanting to believe.

It would make for good theatre, Trump the martyr surviving again.

A problem with sharp elbow American Christians hustling for front of the heaven line, is they’re Dunning-Kruger on crack when it comes to Judaism, confidently wrong, while knowing very little. Part of the issue is that Judaism is intentionally opaque. It’s a survival trait, evolved over centuries of pressure, exile, and persecution. Until they flipped the script.

Judaism isn’t just an older version of Christianity or a faith frozen at the Old Testament. It’s a multi-layered civilization: a living synthesis of religion, law, language, memory, diaspora, argument, mysticism, and adaptation.

You’re not dealing with one book and a doctrinal split, you’re dealing with Talmudic argument, halachic law, the Zohar, Kabbalah, Hasidic and Haredi sects, Mizrahi and Sephardic traditions, Ashkenazi, secular Jewish thought, and languages ranging from Hebrew and Yiddish to Ladino and Judeo-Arabic. It’s not a faith. It’s a world.

To understand it properly, you’d need to study internal texts, generational trauma, diasporic strategies, the humour, the suspicion, the coded speech, all of it.

The Bible that American Christians read is, at best, a narrow window, and often a funhouse mirror. The literalists in particular tend to grow intellectually narrower the deeper they go. Stupid is as stupid goes to heaven.

This isn’t a "pick your poison" between Jews and Arabs. Cowboys and terrorists, It’s not about sides. It’s about not being wrong in your actions. ET might help us clarify our thoughts but without deeds, it's just mental masturbation.
