Go read the Twitter comments. They will give you the hint that it occurred a decade ago inside of Israel. Not in Gaza or the West Bank.

I don't see any twitter comments, neither do I use X as a news feed.
Basically the media are corrupt, can't trust anyone these days.
After Biden's sorty into an Israel war, I've become very suspicious of the 'truth', particularly political/religious truth.

Hamas murders another hostage. This one is a Bedouin. As outlined earlier Bedouins hate Hamas even more than Israelis do.

Israeli military says body of Bedouin hostage found in Gaza

The Israeli military says its troops have found the body of a Bedouin Arab hostage held by Hamas in Gaza, as well as evidence that suggests another may also be dead.

The body of Yousef Zyadna, 53, was recovered from an underground tunnel in the southern Rafah area on Tuesday.

The troops also made what the military described as "findings... which raise serious concerns" for the life of his son, Hamza, 22, who was also abducted by Hamas gunmen during the 7 October 2023 attack on southern Israel.

Two of Hamza's siblings, Aisha and Bilal, were seized alongside them at a kibbutz farm that day. But they were among 105 hostages released during a week-long ceasefire in November 2023.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed "deep sorrow over the bitter news that the Zyadna family received today".

The news came shortly before US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told reporters that US, Qatari and Egyptian mediators were "very close" to brokering a new ceasefire and hostage release deal between Israel and Hamas.

Meanwhile, at least 14 Palestinians were killed in Israeli air strikes across Gaza on Wednesday, according to medics and first responders.

The Israeli military also said it intercepted a rocket fired from southern Gaza.

U.S. Sends 11 Guantánamo Prisoners to Oman to Start New Lives
The secret mission left the smallest number of prisoners at Guantánamo Bay since the day the detention center opened in 2002.

The U.S. military sent 11 Yemeni prisoners at Guantánamo Bay to Oman to restart their lives, the Pentagon said on Monday, leaving just 15 men in the prison in a bold push at end of the Biden administration that has left the prison population smaller than at any time in its more than 20-year history.

None of the released men had been charged with crimes during their two decades of detention. Now, all but six of the remaining prisoners have been charged with or convicted of war crimes.

There were 40 detainees when President Biden took office and resurrected an Obama administration effort to close the prison.

White House denies Gaza genocide following Sudan determination
    Michael Gabriel Hernandez | 09.01.2025 https://www.aa.com.tr/en/world/whit...enocide-following-sudan-determination/3445244

    WASHINGTON
The White House rejected successive findings from multiple organizations Wednesday that Israel's war on the besieged Gaza Strip constitutes genocide, just one day after it said one was taking place in Sudan.

"There's no genocide happening from the Israeli side on Palestinians. It's clear, as the secretary of state articulated, that what we're seeing in Sudan is genocide. It's the wanton, systematic, direct, deliberate slaughter, rape, murder, torture of people based on their ethnicity or their faith that is genocide, and that's what's going on," National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby told reporters.

"That is not what we're seeing in Gaza, just not. The IDF isn't waking up every day putting their boots on the floor and saying, 'Hey, we're going to go kill some innocent people because they happen to be Palestinian.' Now that doesn't mean that there haven't been too many civilian casualties in this conflict, absolutely too many," he added in reference to the Israeli military.

Multiple organizations, including a UN special committee that investigated Israeli practices in Gaza and rights group Amnesty International, have concluded otherwise.

“Through its siege over Gaza, obstruction of humanitarian aid, alongside targeted attacks and killing of civilians and aid workers, despite repeated UN appeals, binding orders from the International Court of Justice and resolutions of the (UN) Security Council, Israel is intentionally causing death, starvation and serious injury, using starvation as a method of war and inflicting collective punishment on the Palestinian population,” the UN committee said.

More than 45,800 people have been killed since Israel began its indiscriminate campaign against Gaza following a Hamas-led Oct. 7, 2023 cross-border attack on Israel. Some 1,200 people were killed in the attack and 250 were taken back to the coastal enclave as hostages.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants in November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.

Just one day prior to denying any genocide in Gaza, the Biden administration on Tuesday issued its determination that a genocide is unfolding in Sudan, saying the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and allied forces are engaged in "systematic atrocities committed against the Sudanese people."

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the RSF and allied militias have conducted "direct attacks" against civilians and have "systematically" murdered men and boys on an ethnic basis and deliberately targeted women and girls from certain ethnic groups for rape and other brutal sexual violence.
