Hezbollah repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement. They were told from the very beginning that Israel would go on the offense again immediately if a single instance of violating the ceasefire from Hezbollah occurred. I guess Hezbollah was not listening very well and the drive deeper into Lebanon to further eliminate Hezbollah is the expected result. Let's start with the headline which occurred less than 24 hours after the ceasefire started.

Hezbollah fires at an Israeli-held border zone, the group’s first strike since a ceasefire began

You fail to mention that over 50% of the Palestinian deaths are Hezbollah militants. Somehow this escapes you. Many of the "journalists" in Gaza have been proven to be Hamas militants. Numerous UNRWA employees and aid workers have been demonstrated to be Hezbollah militants.

    Ohhhhh yessssss.
Lets make a simple assumption that 10% of Palestinian men killed are non combatants.
That equates to 4 civilians killed for each combatant, or 40,000 civilians dead for 10,000 terrorists, that's quite an achievement for the IDF goons led by American goons.
Then Biden goes and pardons his criminal son as a final act of christianity, god bless him.

Somehow you missed that 1/3 of Hamas militants are under the age of 18. Remember the videos of all the Hamas teenagers marching around with automatic weapons before the war. Now they are all shooting at the IDF. Noting that the Hamas Health Ministry figures are very questionable to start with.

Actually I have posted extensively about the land theft in the West Bank by Israeli settlers and that this land would need to be given back to the Palestinians for any possibility of a two-state peace solution.

Israel condemns Australia’s UN ‘flip-flop’, says it rewards terrorism
    By Staff reporter

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has taken a swipe at the Australian Albanese government’s declining support for Israel and its promotion of Palestinian statehood at the United Nations, suggesting Australia has abandoned an ally and rewarded terrorism.

In comments published by The Australian, a spokesperson for Netanyahu said the Australian government’s controversial UN vote on Wednesday – applauded by Palestinian advocates – was a “disappointing” change that would undoubtedly invite “more terrorism” and “more antisemitic riots” in city centres.

As revealed by this masthead, the government angered Israel by voting in favour of a UN resolution demanding Israel end its presence in the occupied Palestinian territories as soon as possible and calling for the evacuation of all settlers from the West Bank and Gaza.

Netanyahu has not made any public remarks about Australia’s shift in support from Israel over the past 14 months, although in recent days his government has used diplomatic channels to express its disapproval.

It marked a two-decade change in Canberra’s position on the matter and coincided with Australia’s top diplomat in Israel being summoned for a rare dressing down by Israel’s foreign minister, who is furious about an earlier decision to deny entry to prominent former justice minister Ayelet Shaked.

The last time Australia voted for a UN resolution calling for Israel to withdraw from disputed territories was in 2001. In May, Australia voted to recognise Palestine as qualified to become a full UN member, and last month, Australia backed a resolution recognising the “permanent sovereignty of the Palestinians” in the West Bank and Gaza.

The statement provided by Netanyahu’s office said Australia’s positions amounted to a reward for terrorists who abducted 250 hostages – 101 of whom remain in captivity, including children, young women and elderly men – and slaughtered 1200 people on October 7 last year.

“Awarding antisemitism and terrorism with a state in the heart of the Jewish ancient homeland and cradle of civilisation will invite more terrorism and more antisemitic riots at campuses and city centres, including in Australia.”

The prime minister’s office said the Palestinian Authority had yet to denounce the atrocities of October 7 that were “carried out by Palestinian terrorists” and that Australia appeared intent on rewarding them for it.

“To the contrary, they have embraced those atrocities that included the rape, murder and beheading of Jews. It’s a shame that the current Australian government wants to award these savages with a state.”

The Australian reported that the statement ended with a “not so subtle remark”, indicating just low relations had fallen between Australia and Israel over the past year.

“Thankfully, our key allies support Israel as we strive for true peace and security” – a statement that may be interpreted as a suggestion that Australia is no longer regarded as a longstanding ally.

Executive Council of Australian Jewry president Daniel Aghion said earlier this week Australia’s long-standing bipartisan support for Israel had essentially vanished amid the Albanese government’s “shameless pursuit of a domestic political agenda” that put Labor’s aspirations in vulnerable seats ahead of historic and principled support for a democratic ally.

A spokesperson for Foreign Minister Penny Wong said: “As a constructive middle power, Australia approaches UN resolutions to try to achieve the best outcomes we can.

“We don’t always get everything we want. But if, on balance, we believe the resolution will contribute to peace and a two-state solution, we will vote for it.”

Australia Palestine Advocacy Network president Nasser Mashni praised the government for “aligning our nation with the overwhelming majority of the world in standing up for Palestinian justice and human rights, and accountability for Israel”.

He called on the government to go further by imposing sanctions on Israel and a two-way arms embargo.
