Another thing, Western governments, Western religion, Western media have filled the void between our ears with continual biased propaganda about how wonderful the West is. Now, there is no disputing the West is prosperous, lucky, abundant, we have good land. America, Canada, Australia, NZ etc have prosperous country side, good farming, weather, coastal, fishing etc. But the West have grown fat, complacent, greedy, entitled. The bias the West has toward Israel, feeding them money and bombs so they can kill their neighbours with impunity is just pure evil and wrong. These actions will reverse upon the West with disaster. The West are sowing their own destructive seeds. Biden the religious fool is leading the West down a path of no return. Harris and Trump also have a religious bent, I'm not optimistic.
These political religious assholes will ensure they hand the reins down to more of their religious cronies.
Terrorism is quite lucrative for Sinwar. Inside Yahya Sinwar’s bunker beneath Gaza — UN food rations, millions in cash, cologne and his own shower https://nypost.com/2024/10/20/world...ars-bunker-beneath-gaza-un-food-rations-cash/ Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar was prepared to hide out the war in his secret bunker beneath Gaza flushed with UN food rations, thousands in cash, cologne and his own shower, Israeli officials say. Footage from the Israeli military gives a peek into how the Oct. 7 mastermind spent his days in Khan Younis during the first half of the war — before he was forced to flee to Rafah, where he was killed last Thursday. The resurfaced video from February depicts a bright and cozy living quarters for Sinwar, 61, and his guards, with a fully stocked kitchen that Israeli Defense Forces officials said would help the terrorists ride out the war decimating Gaza above ground. The soldier giving the tour, who was not named, showed off a bag of food with the label of the embattled United Nations Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA) group. Hamas has been repeatedly accused of stealing rations from the international agency, which hands out supplies to Gaza’s nearly two million refugees. Israel has also accused the UNRWA being infiltrated by Hamas, allegations that the group denies despite firing nine staffers after a probe linked them to the Oct. 7 terrorist attack. Along with the cache of food, the soldiers found several bathrooms and showers in the bunker that were notably cleaner and more modern than other baths found in Hamas’ tunnel system. The bunkers kitchen has a bag of food from the UNRWA, which Hamas has long-been accused of stealing supplies from. Further inside were the living quarters of Sinwar’s bodyguards, with lockers next to the door housing a cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives. At the back of the bunker was a small room reserved for the Hamas chief, with a large safe beside his bed containing “millions” of shekels — the Israeli currency, according to the soldier. “He lives here in a good way, with all his millions, while the civilians above ground are living in poverty and are starving,” the IDF soldier said. The terror chief also appeared to have several bottles of cologne, hygiene supplies and tonics stored in his room. Sinwar and Hamas’ other slain leaders have often been accused of living luxuriously in Gaza at the detriment of the people they were supposed to be governing. Their Khan Younis estates and vacation homes were the target of criticism when they were documented by the Israeli military last year. During his family’s escape beneath Gaza on the eve of the Oct. 7 massacre, Sinwar’s wife, Abu Zamar, was allegedly holding a $32,000 Birkin bag, according to Israeli officials. The IDF suspect Sinwar hid in the Khan Younis bunker as he directed Hamas’ forces in the first half of the war as the group’s Gaza leader. The Israeli military surrounded Sinwar’s home in December and breached the bunker by February, just missing the terrorist and his men as they fled further south. Sinwar was allegedly hiding out the remainder of the war in Rafah, where hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees fled to during the IDF’s southward advancements. Despite his ability to repeatedly elude the IDF, Sinwar was caught by chance in a routine operation in Rafah, with IDF soldiers killing him in a missile strike suspecting he was just another Hamas fighter. Officials believe Sinwar was attempting to free north as the IDF continued to hunt for him in Rafah. (Article contains many more pictures of Sinswar's luxury bunker)
I'm afraid that of all the mythologies to take firm hold on the West, the Jew's one is just such rubbish it is embarrassing to be a white human really. We should have stuck with gods who didn't pretend to be anything more than capricious humans as Stephen Fry said.
I don't accept that between Israel and the US it was impossible to overcome the difficulties in screening out combatants. This has worked and we know the success of separating civilians from fighters has depended on various factors, including the willingness of fighters to allow civilians to leave, the logistics of safe movement, and the broader goals of the controlling force. We know that Hamas would have been heavy on manipulation by the fighters and "human shields". When I was an an anti-poaching ranger, and it was a different situation, I changed how things were done and focused on economic loss to poachers by disabling their vehicles. I made it abundantly clear that I was Africa's best tiger hunter, meaning any Hilux Tiger that entered or left the park without going through an approved entry was going to be scrap and not worth the loss for whatever the Chinese were paying. Its not the same but nobody did that before I arrived*. A new perspective on this using technology should at least have been tried. They weren't going anywhere. At least if anybody was pretending to be moral and not just trying to grab more land. *There were legal issues to address.
The west had a good 2000 year run...invented a lot of things. created an amazing food production system
Tbf, it also created so much junk and pollution doing it that now we and the biosphere are choking on it.
Pollution much better then 50 years ago Either we slow population growth and limit resources or we create technology to reduce the pollution like we have for 50 years
Life is a mystery.... There's a bible story about the tower of Babel. 1 Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. 2 And as they migrated from the east, they came upon a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. 3 And they said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks and fire them thoroughly." And they had brick for stone and bitumen for mortar. 4 Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves; otherwise we shall be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth." 5 The LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which mortals had built. 6 And the LORD said, "Look, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do; nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language there, so that they will not understand one another's speech." 8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city. 9 Therefore it was called Babel, because there the LORD confused (balal) the language of all the earth, and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth. — Genesis 11:1–9 NRSVUE[13] When life was simpler and we lived (ignorantly) in villages and there was no global media, we were more content perhaps. Are we behaving worse because of media? Maybe that interpretation is wrong. We had WW1 & WW2 which were brutal. There have been numerous regional wars. Maybe the present day Israeli's killing is just normal human behavior which has gone on before. This current Israeli fighting, there are so many frequent attrocities I don't bother reporting them, it seems daily another set of unjust killings, I can't be fagged writing them all down. It's just endless brutality.
