Israel 'increasingly confident' Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar killed in Gaza https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cy94zdd0nxlt
The genocide being committed by the Jews is eating into the Kamala base. Could cost her the election if they go full Nazi before election day. Either way this is a real problem for everyone come next year. Jews need to tap the brakes, or it's WWIII, and saving Israel isn't worth that.
Time for a worldwide celebration. Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar killed in Gaza by Israeli forces, officials say https://abcnews.go.com/Internationa...leader-yahya-sinwar-killed/story?id=114888233
The question now becomes - what is next? Will the remaining Hamas leadership fold and agree to a ceasefire & release of hostages now that Sinwar is dead? If they did then this would lay the foundation towards peace as per the three part plan put forward by the international community. Hopefully some type of agreement is reached quickly with Sinwar out of the way. The people of Gaza have endured quite a bit due to Hamas -- a terrorist group who has killed more Palestinians civilians in Gaza since 2005 than the IDF has. If a path to peace can quickly be put in place then the re-construction of Gaza can commence with support from the international community. There is a vital need for housing, hospitals and other facilities to be put in place -- and not be used as Hamas militant operational posts connected to tunnels. This will allow an improvement in the distribution of aid and the re-building of the Gaza economy. The question is open -- What is next? And it is very much up to Hamas at this point. The statement from Netanyahu. Netanyahu: "Evil has suffered a heavy blow" after Sinwar’s death, "but the task before us is not yet complete" https://www.cnn.com/world/live-news...n-10-17-24-intl-hnk#cm2dkj5lv000k3b6nutes281x Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar on Thursday, saying, “This is the beginning of the day after Hamas.” “Evil has suffered a heavy blow, but the task before us is not yet complete,” Netanyahu said in a recorded video message. Netanyahu called Sinwar’s killing an “important moment in the war,” telling residents of Gaza that it is an “opportunity” for them to “finally break free from (Hamas’) tyranny.” Netanyahu warned Hamas its leaders will be eliminated and called on those holding Israeli hostages captive to lay down their weapons and return the hostages, saying whoever does so will be allowed to “go out and live.” He commended the “heroic soldiers” who carried out the operation and told the families of hostages still held in Gaza that it is “highest commitment” that Israel will continue “with all our strength until the return home of all your loved ones, who are our loved ones.” “Now it is clear to everyone, in Israel and in the world, why we insisted on not ending the war,” Netanyahu said. Biden praises the news of Hamas leader's death https://www.cnn.com/world/live-news...n-10-17-24-intl-hnk#cm2dmohwz001e3b6nwvju8ls4 US President Joe Biden praised the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar by Israel in a statement Thursday, adding he will speak “soon” with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “This is a good day for Israel, for the United States and for the world,” Biden said in the written statement. “I will be speaking soon with Prime Minister Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders to congratulate them, to discuss the pathway for bringing the hostages home to their families, and for ending this war once and for all, which has caused so much devastation to innocent people,” he continued. Biden added that it’s his hope that now is the opportunity for looking toward the next steps for Gaza following Sinwar’s death. “There is now the opportunity for a ‘day after’ in Gaza without Hamas in power, and for a political settlement that provides a better future for Israelis and Palestinians alike. Yahya Sinwar was an insurmountable obstacle to achieving all of those goals. That obstacle no longer exists. But much work remains before us,” Biden said.
Israel leaders make steps toward return of Jewish settlements to Gaza Israeli Likud leaders are holding a controversial conference next week to promote the re-establishment of settlements in Gaza, backed by right-wing ministers. 17 October, 2024 https://www.newarab.com/news/israel-leaders-inch-towards-return-jewish-settlements-gaza Despite Netanyahu's previous denials of returning to Gaza settlements, key ministers and lawmakers from the right-wing party are backing the initiative [Getty] Leaders of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's governing Likud Party are set to hold a controversial conference next week aimed at promoting the re-establishment of Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip. Despite Netanyahu's previous denials of returning to Gaza settlements, key ministers and lawmakers from the right-wing party are backing the initiative. The event, scheduled for next Monday near the Gaza border, carries the Likud Party's slogan along with the 'Gaza is Ours, Forever' message and is centered on preparing for settlement efforts in the territory under the title 'Preparing to Resettle Gaza', which Israel evacuated in 2005. Among the key organisers is Social Equality Minister May Golan as well as the Nachala movement, known for establishing illegal outposts in the occupied Wes Bank. The Nachala extremist group stated that "the event is not just a theoretical conference, but a practical exercise and preparation for renewed settlement in Gaza." The group added that "the return to settlement in Gaza is no longer just an idea but a process that is already in advanced stages, with government and public support." According to the movement's announcement, far-right minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich, Amichai Eliyahu, and Yitzhak Wasserlauf are also expected to attend. MKs Tally Gotliv, Osher Shkalim, and Hanoch Milwidsky confirmed to Haaretz they will attend the event, while six other Likud MKs are expected to take part. In January, hundreds of Israeli settlers convened in Jerusalem calling for the building of settlements in Gaza and the northern part of the occupied West Bank. The conference at the time, titled 'Settlement Brings Security' was also organised by the Nachala group and backed by Israel's hard-right ministers. Videos from the conference showed a huge crowd erupting in provocative chants calling for the building of Jewish settlements in Gaza, a move deemed illegal under international law. Israel withdrew its military and settlers from Gaza in 2005 after a 38-year occupation that was followed by a siege on the heavily populated strip in 2007. Since October last year, Israel's war on the enclave has killed over 42,000 people - most of whom were civilians - and destroyed much of the enclave.
A reminder, when Israel and the West rail against Hamas the evil one, you'll never hear mention of land theft and decades of Palestinian oppression.
