Gaza doctor says gunfire accounted for 80% of the wounds at his hospital from aid convoy bloodshed

Israeli troops fired on a large crowd of Palestinians racing to pull food off an aid convoy in Gaza City on Thursday, witnesses said. More than 100 people were killed, bringing the death toll since the start of the Israel-Hamas war to more than 30,000, according to health officials.

RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — The head of a Gaza City hospital that treated some of those wounded in the bloodshed surrounding an aid convoy said Friday that more than 80% had been struck by gunfire, suggesting there had been heavy shooting by Israeli troops.

At least 115 Palestinians were killed and more than 750 others were injured Thursday, according to health officials, when witnesses said nearby Israeli troops opened fire as huge crowds raced to pull goods off an aid convoy. Israel said many of the dead were trampled in a stampede linked to the chaos and that its troops fired at some in the crowd who they believed moved toward them in a threatening way.

Dr. Mohammed Salha, the acting director of Al-Awda Hospital, told The Associated Press that 176 wounded were brought to the facility, of whom 142 had suffered gunshot wounds. The other 34 showed injuries from a stampede.

He couldn’t address the cause of death of those killed, because the bodies were taken to government-run hospitals to be counted. Officials at the other hospitals couldn’t immediately be reached concerning the dead and other wounded.

    Today.

Hamas announced today, Friday, the killing of seven Zionist hostages, as a result of the bombing of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman, Abu Ubaida, stated, “The audit confirmed the killing of seven new hostages with their captors after communication with them was cut off earlier.

Abu Ubaida confirmed, “The number of prisoners who were killed as a result of the military operations of the enemy army in the Gaza Strip may exceed seventy prisoners.” We have been keen all along to preserve their lives, but it has become clear that the Zionist leadership is deliberately killing its prisoners to get rid of this file.”.

After the Palestinian health ministry reported that Israeli troops killed more than 100 people waiting for food aid in northern Gaza on Thursday, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said Israeli forces "acted excellently against a Gazan mob that tried to harm them".

He further called on Israel to stop transferring aid to Gaza.

"Today it was proven that the transfer of humanitarian aid to Gaza is not only madness while our abductees are being held in the Strip under substandard conditions, but also endangers the Israeli soldiers,"
    he said.

We have verified further footage filmed where the shooting occurred, of bodies being taken away on a cart north in the direction of Nabulsi roundabout.

There have been reports of casualties being taken to several hospitals.

Dr Mohamed Salha, interim hospital manager at al-Awda hospital, where many of the dead and injured were taken, told the BBC: "Al-Awda hospital received around 176 injured people...142 of these cases are bullet injuries and the rest are from the stampede and broken limbs in the upper and lower body parts."

I don't see anyone getting hit but plenty rounds popped off:

An in-depth article from BBC covering the food aid fiasco in Gaza -- with details of time line, pictures, etc. It appears some of the people were shot from the IDF and others were trampled.

What video and eyewitness accounts tell us about Gazans killed at aid drop

US military to begin ‘sustained’ airdrop of food into Gaza, effort criticised as ‘band-aid’

Other countries, including Jordan and France, have already carried out airdrops of aid into Gaza.

    WASHINGTON

US President Joe Biden announced on Friday plans to carry out a first military airdrop of food and supplies into Gaza, a day after the deaths of Palestinians queuing for aid threw a spotlight on an unfolding humanitarian catastrophe amid Israel’s relentless war in the coastal enclave.

Biden said the US airdrop would take place in the coming days but offered no further specifics. Other countries, including Jordan and France, have already carried out airdrops of aid into Gaza.

“We need to do more and the United States will do more,” Biden told reporters, adding that “aid flowing to Gaza is nowhere nearly enough.”
    ........................

Netanyahu has piss weak puppet Biden well and truly by the balls.
    Biden is afraid of Bibi.
USA has to airdrop food in because Israel controls everybody and wont allow American road access into Gaza.

Joe Biden confuses Gaza with Ukraine twice as he announces plans to airdrop aid

US president Joe Biden confused Gaza and Ukraine twice while announcing plans for the US to airdrop aid.

Mr Biden revealed that the US would begin providing humanitarian assistance in Gaza when he made the blunder.

It came a day after dozens of Palestinians were killed during an encounter with Israeli troops.

At least 115 Palestinians were killed and more than 750 others were injured, according to Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry, on Thursday.

But when making the announcement, Mr Biden twice referred to the airdrops being in Ukraine instead of Gaza.

"In the coming days, we're going to join with our friends in Jordan and others who are providing airdrops of additional food and supplies into Ukraine," he said.

He added that the US will "seek to open up other avenues into Ukraine, including possibly a marine corridor".
