The US and UK launched airstrikes on Houthi rebel targets in Yemen, escalating a conflict with an Iranian proxy in response to a string of attacks that have disrupted commercial shipping in the Red Sea.

The US and its partners struck more than a dozen targets, including radar installations, storage sites and missile launchers, according to a US official, who asked not to be identified before a formal announcement. The attacks came from fighter jets based on the USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier, as well as Tomahawk missiles launched from submarines and surface ships.

Netanyobboyahu will be happy the West are blowing their dough fighting his wars.
Bibi will start another war soon and US will piss more money against the wall saving his skin.
The more wars, the less chance he'll face court for corruption anytime soon.
'Yobboyahu will keep this shit going as long as possible, he aint as dumb as bidenmytime and his goon blinkenbastid.
Meanwhile bidenmytime is mindful sheeple will vote for him because he's a 'war leader'.
When ya want to distract sheeple from domestic issues, start a war.

Netanyahu slams ‘brazen gall’ of World Court after allegations of genocide in Gaza: ‘The world is upside down’
By Social Links for Ronny Reyes Published Jan. 11, 2024
    https://nypost.com/2024/01/11/news/netanyahu-slams-world-court-allegations-of-genocide-in-gaza/

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed allegations of genocide in Gaza as nothing more than “hypocrisy” on Thursday as South Africa brought a case against the Jewish State at the World Court.

Netanyahu is the latest Israeli official to criticize the International Court of Justice hearing being held in Hauge, South Africa, where members of the World Court are hearing the case against the Jewish State’s war in Gaza and the civilian cost.

The Israeli leader accused South Africa of “brazen gall” for representing the “monsters” of Hamas by bringing the allegations to court.

“A terrorist organization carried out the worst crime against the Jewish People since the Holocaust, and now someone comes to defend it in the name of the Holocaust,” Netanyahu said in a statement. “What brazen gall. The world is upside down.”

Netanyahu added: “South Africa’s hypocrisy screams to the high Heavens. Where was South Africa when millions of people were being murdered and uprooted from their homes in Syria and Yemen, by whom? By Hamas’s partners.

“We will continue to refute the lies. We will continue to uphold our just right to defend ourselves and to ensure our future – until total victory,” the prime minister concluded.

Netanyahu has long defended the war as a necessary security measure for Israel after it endured the Oct 7. terrorist attack that saw more than 1,200 people killed and more than 240 others kidnapped.

Netanyahu must have employed Trump's speech writer.

GWB types though normalizing relations w/Iran by reaching a nuclear deal was bad business and loved Trump for bombing their generals instead.

The Houthis are merely a proxy allowing Iran to wage a proxy war against the Sunnis and the West. If the Western navies attack the Houthis destroying and equipment then Iran does not really give a crap about their deaths and will simply provide more missiles to them.

The West is trying to convince the Houthis via military force that their missile/drone attacks on shipping is unwise and will lead to the deaths of many Houthis and it would be more wise for the Houthis to get back to their traditional war on the Sunnis in Yemen.

Iran is not going to be "baited" into a direct response which will allow the West to destroy Iran's nuclear production. On the other hand Israel may decide to take out Iran's nuclear capabilities (as they have in the past).

Let's see what the pro-Hamas "squad" clowns are saying in Congress. These particular progressive Democrats are idiots who have no understanding of how the Constitution works.

Joe Biden accused of 'violating Constitution' by own party over 'unapproved' Yemen strikes
Joe Biden has come under fire from an onslaught of fellow Democrats who accuse him of launching unapproved air strikes on Yemen in response to Houthi attacks.
