Just Hamas shoveling typical Pallywood bullshiat and the BBC eating it all up without verification of the facts.

BBC Apologizes For Reporting Unverified Hamas Claim Israel Was “Executing” Palestinians In Gaza
    https://deadline.com/2024/01/bbc-apologizes-reporting-hamas-israel-execution-claims-1235700076/

The BBC has apologized for reporting an unverified Hamas claim about the Israeli army carrying out “summary executions” of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

BBC radio news bulletins reported Hamas’ allegation on Christmas Eve but the corporation said sufficient efforts were not made to corroborate the claim made by the designated terror group.

The source of the story appears to be news agency AFP, which reported that Hamas had gathered testimonies showing 137 Palestinians had been executed since the start of Israel‘s offensive. AFP said it could not verify the claim.

The BBC radio bulletins quoted the Israeli military saying it was unaware of the incident and Hamas does not “value truth,” but it was not enough to prevent the broadcaster from issuing a correction.

In a statement, the BBC said: “In overnight output [on BBC radio news bulletins] we ran a story about Hamas accusing the Israeli army of carrying out summary executions in the Gaza strip.

“This was a Hamas statement, but although the accusations were attributed and our story contained a response from the Israeli military saying they were unaware of the incident and that Hamas was a terrorist organisation that did not value truth, we had not made sufficient effort to seek corroborating evidence to justify reporting the Hamas claim. We apologise for this mistake.”

It is not the first time the BBC has admitted to mistakes in its output on the conflict in Gaza. Last November, it apologized for reporting that Israeli troops targeted medics and Arab speakers during a raid on Gaza’s main hospital, Al-Shifa.

The BBC also said it was “wrong to speculate” on who was responsible for the blast at Gaza City’s Al-Ahli Arab hospital last October. The BBC attributed the attack to Israel.

BBC News CEO Deborah Turness has put trust in the corporation’s news at the forefront of her agenda. She has launched BBC Verify with the stated aim of “fact-checking, verifying video, countering disinformation, analysing data and – crucially – explaining complex stories in the pursuit of truth.”

    Something doesn't compute.
Armed Palestinians are invading Israel on a quick incursion knowing full well their enemy are armed to the teeth and they've go about with time to walk around with their pants down and penis out?
Hmmmm, sounds like another jewish spin doctor yarn.

    so racist...

Pallywood, a portmanteau of "Palestine" and "Hollywood", is a derogatory label used to describe supposed media manipulation, distortion or fraud by some Palestinians putatively designed to win the public relations war with Israel. Israeli pundits have used the term to dismiss videos showing Israeli violence or Palestinian suffering.[1]

Ruthie Blum says that Richard Landes's claims, which are considered quite severe, have led to him being labeled as a right-wing conspiracy theorist in certain circles.[8] Critics argue that Landes's language, which seemingly favors Israel, displays characteristics commonly associated with conspiracy theories.[18]

In 2014, Larry Derfner described Pallywood in +972 Magazine as "a particularly ugly ethnic slur".[19] In 2018, Eyal Weizman, whose work with Forensic Architecture has been called "Pallywood" in Israel, replied that "The bastards' last line of defence is to call it 'fake news'. The minute they revert to this argument is when they've lost all the others."[20] In an article published by Mondoweiss, Jonathan Cook argued that "Pallywood" was a convenient excuse used by Israelis to dismiss filmed evidence of brutality by their soldiers.[21]

So now you are sowing doubt that Hamas terrorists raped large numbers of women on October 7th -- despite the overwhelming evidence of these rapes?

Clearly you are in the pro-Hamas terrorist supporting camp if you are throwing doubt on the brutal crimes committed by Hamas.

    New York Times report
According to a two-month investigation by the New York Times using video footage, photographs, GPS data from mobile phones and interviews with more than 150 purported victims or their families, the Times identified at least seven locations where sexual assaults and mutilations of Israeli women and girls were carried out. They concluded that these were not isolated events but part of a broader pattern in which Hamas "weaponized sexual violence" during the attacks. No survivors have come forward to bear witness, and there were no autopsies, as funerals were held promptly according to Jewish tradition and because most ZAKA volunteers hold beliefs that prohibit photographing the dead.[3]

Video evidence reviewed by New York Times included "a woman in a black dress lying on her back, dress torn, legs spread, vagina exposed" with her face completely charred, whom Israeli police officials believed to have been raped.[43] The Times identified the woman as Gal Abdush. Abdush's sister Miral Alter spoke out later on social media, stating that the video of her sister shows no evidence of rape, nor does she feel there is any reason to suspect rape.[44]

keep in mind a family central to one of the stories has accused the NYT of twisting their words and making accusation of rape where they believe was none. Doesn't change the fact for the rest of the victims:

    Israel-Hamas war

No photo evidence had been made public as of Thursday morning corroborating claims that babies had been beheaded. Israel has published photos of dead infants after the terror attack.

Editor’s note: This story includes graphic descriptions of violent acts that some readers may find disturbing.

A series of shocking reports have spread horrific claims of baby beheadings by Hamas militants across social and mainstream media in recent days, adding a particularly incendiary element to an already violent and bitter war. But the reports are still unconfirmed, and in some cases have been retracted.

The most high-profile claim came Wednesday night when President Joe Biden said that he had seen photographic evidence of terrorists beheading children. The White House later clarified that Biden was referring to news reports about beheadings, which have not included or referred to photographic evidence.

Photos have been published by Hamas showing beheaded soldiers and the X account belonging to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted pictures on Thursday of babies killed and burned by Hamas. No photo evidence had been made public as of Thursday morning corroborating claims that babies had been beheaded.
