Y'all following this Epstein mess?

  1. She has a miserable couple years coming up even if she skates on everything.

She and her attorneys can dick around and argue all their various arguments that we know they will make, but she is already in the slam and two years would barely put a dent in the time required for some of her legal maneuvering. She would be lucky to even have a trial date before then. Maybe that works if the judge gives you bail and you are living up in your monastery in New Hampshire while all the legal maneuvering is going on- but if you are in the slam, dragging things out looks less than optimal. Better to get sentenced and then moved over to one of the Camp Fed facilities and then let out early on COVID or whatever the game is that year. Probably the Chinese will have given us another pandemic- or maybe even two- by then.

Have any of the geniuses here on the forum on in the lefty media come up with any explanations yet as to why (y'all will remember this) Cyrus Vance, the Manhattan District Attorney felt a sudden need to visit the court and ask to have Epstein's sexual offender classification reduced to a lower level?????? An act that caused a seasoned judge to nearly choke and blow her lunch in astonishment?

MORE TO COME. There is still a story there awaiting more information. Those of you who are guessing the obvious are probably right.

"Justice Ruth Pickholz vehemently denied the request and expressed incredulity that the district attorney’s office would argue in support of a man accused of sexually molesting dozens of teenage girls in Florida."

  2. Only one evil?

Picked up a load this evening that apparently originated from Cartagena, Colombia. Pallets of frac sand. Thought of you. Been to Cartegena before? It was shown in the movie, Romancing the Stone.

Yep, very pretty city, the old town has impressive defensive walls and been the set of quite a few movies, recently Gemini Man with Will Smith.

Do not drink dispenser soda, the water there is not good unlike most of Colombia's major cities. Well if you want to lose weight give it a go, no gym can beat that.

    Frac sand lol...
Somewhere in all these archives... I once traded a company that dug that sh*t out of the ground up in MN or one of those places. That wasn't the angle at the time, it was a hurricane play at the time.... but I remember reading that was one of their big growth areas.

  5. I am thinking this is probably a good development. She has hired an insider who has made his career by getting lower levels to flip on others to save their arses or for reduced penalties anyway.

That works for me. Probably some men out there who it does not work for. Bill Clinton I am looking at you.

Depends on what her frame of mind is. If she is still thinking she is not going to be found guilty or have to plead to anything, well then, this might not be the right attorney for her. She might need a few more weeks more in that no-tell hotel she is in now before she is ready to appreciate this guy's "skills."

Former warden at Ghislaine Maxwell’s NYC jail says she should be on suicide watch
    https://nypost.com/2020/07/07/ghislaine-maxwell-should-be-on-suicide-watch-ex-nyc-jail-warde/

Ghislaine Maxwell should be kept on suicide watch at her federal lockup in Brooklyn because her case is too explosive to risk her killing herself behind bars, a former warden of the jail told The Post Tuesday.

Cameron Lindsay, who served as the warden at the Metropolitan Detention Center for three years, said he wouldn’t risk the possibility of her suicide because it would be “unimaginable” for her to escape the justice system.

“She allegedly knows a great deal of information about a multitude of potential co-defendants in the actions against Jeffrey Epstein,” Lindsay said.

“This is just such a sensitive case, it’s absolutely imperative that the government get it right,” he added. “Why take any chances? Just put her on suicide watch and keep her there until she’s out the door. I would just not risk it.”

At the jail, an inmate is placed on suicide watch at the discretion of the warden and the chief psychologist at the facility.

Once on inmate is on suicide watch, a staff member or fellow inmate who has been trained by the psychologist, sits outside their cell and stares at them constantly to ensure they don’t attempt to kill themselves.

Lindsay added that Maxwell will likely be placed in a cell by herself because her high-profile case and wide publicity may make her a target for other inmates.

“To take someone out like that, that would be a badge of honor in the subculture of prisons,” he said.

“Anytime an inmate with wide publicity of a very sensitive nature like this, they become a target,” Lindsay said, adding that inmates typically use shanks, blunt objects or even boiling water to injure a target.

Maxwell, who arrived at the Sunset Park jail Monday, was likely transported to the facility in “full restraints,” which includes leg irons, a belly chain and handcuffs. After entering, she would’ve been stripped searched and cavity searched and given a medical examination.

She’ll likely ride out her time at the jail in “administrative lockdown status,” Lindsay added, which would keep her locked down in a cell 23 hours a day. She’d be given one hour of recreation time at a small outdoor area after being escorted from her cell in shackles under the lockdown status.

Maxwell, who is facing four counts of sex trafficking and two counts of perjury, was transferred to the facility on Monday after her arrest in New Hampshire, the Bureau of Prisons said. She’ll be held at the jail until at least her bail hearing, which will be held either later this week or early next week.

  7. I'm thinking if she was suicidal she'd have already offed herself months ago.
How about this for an idea? She dies, the guards, warden and anyone else responsible for her health and well being get executed upon her death. That might slow down the Clinton kill team a notch or two.

She has immunity for anything to do with this case on a federal level.

Her lawyers will take state charges apart in all likelihood.
