Yale Epidemiologist: Hydroxychloroquine Could Save 100,000 Lives If Widely Deployed

  1. Attached below is an article on a 2005 study with Chloroqunine on SARS. Chloroquinine combined with a zinc derivative is effective in the early stages of Infection because it prevents Covid from replicating.

The real problem with the Chloroquine treatment, it is dirt cheap. The American Medical Association’s (AMA) primary purpose is to maximize healthcare provider profitability. Expensive synthetic drugs that are often derived from herbs are favored over inexpensive herbal based treatments. Often superior foreign drugs are restricted from entering the US market in an effort to maximize US pharmaceutical profits.

The US healthcare industry is about maximizing profits, not health. Long gone is the hyppocratic oath. Look at statins, for example.

Most times, when there is a controversy in a science related subject, one can either take the time to understand the science or one can follow the money. Either path leads to the conclusion that the Chloroquinine treatment is effective against Covid-SARS in the early stages of infection.

Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread

    Additional article information

    Abstract
    Background
Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is caused by a newly discovered coronavirus (SARS-CoV). No effective prophylactic or post-exposure therapy is currently available.

    Results
We report, however, that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage. In addition to the well-known functions of chloroquine such as elevations of endosomal pH, the drug appears to interfere with terminal glycosylation of the cellular receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. This may negatively influence the virus-receptor binding and abrogate the infection, with further ramifications by the elevation of vesicular pH, resulting in the inhibition of... Thanks. Good post. I think Fauci quoted this study re SARS treatment many years ago.

Budesamide also works incredibly well. Vitamin D3. Supplemental zinc.

Seems the Never-Trump crowd married themselves to opposing quinines based on politics, not science. They would rather watch Americans die by the tens of thousands and bankrupt the country, so they can regain political power. That's the very definition of tyranny. Do we really want people who are throwing their fellow Americans into the furnace, running the country? Recipe for disaster.

Cholorquine works. It just does. The Bill Gates study was retracted. Other establishment studies that showed no benefit examined late stage, ICU-admitted covid19 patients. Cholorquine works great for early stage covid19 and as a preventative. These are just scientific facts.

So an article back from July 3rd is the best you have.

Let's read the full title of the article -
Study finds hydroxychloroquine may have boosted survival, but other researchers have doubts

This is old news and already completely debunked.
The higher survival rate for the COVID patients at the Henry Ford clinic was due to them being given the steroid dexamethasone -- it had nothing to do with hydroxychloroquine which acted as little more than a placebo.

Somehow the Henry Ford "researchers" (who are GOP political donors) seemed to have forgotten they were giving their patients dexamethasone when they promoted their assertions.

No, I don't have a dog in this fight. I just knew it would trigger you, and even said that.

Are you saying we shouldn't trust the media to tell us the truth on the subject?

Once again this has been completely debunked. They were giving the patients a steroid which provided the positive outcomes. Go read a few posts above for details.
