Hydroxychloroquine is effective in treating and preventing malaria. Hydroxychloroquine-based therapy is not effective in treating or preventing COVID. In fact hydroxychloroquine is not recommended for people with heart conditions and most likely killed a number of COVID patients when used for treating them rather than providing any beneficial effect. Anyone who claims that hydroxychloroquine is a COVID treatment or preventative at this point after reams of medical study evidence showing otherwise is a non-rational flake or pushing a political agenda.

There are plenty of studies and plenty of countries that show hcq is very effective for use in treating covid19. The Yale epidemiologist referenced those studies. The few studies that showed it dangerous were later retracted , funded by bill gates fauci, or focused on patients in the ICU. Where hcq is not effective at all.
