Hi SkepticalTrader, Thanks for the tip. My two laptops that I use for trading and both don't have floppy drives have a shut down performance improved by 8 secs from 25 secs to 17 secs on one laptop and an improvement from 37 secs to about 25 secs on the other laptop.
