AS VISTA CONTINUES to flop, XP refuses to die, with Microsoft once again extending the old OSâs life to OEMs for another six months. http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquirer/news/2008/10/06/xp-gets-six-months-death-row
MSFT should keep XP in the marketplace until they come up with an OS which is embraced because it's better, more reliable and equally compatible.
I agree, having done some IT support for friends I've realized Vista is a complete failure. No performance improvement and the fact that none of the XP drivers were compatible was a joke, a bad one. If you read the news it's obvious MSFT has given up on Vista and started focusing on Windows 7.
