X_Trader vs NinjaTrader

  1. Any opinions here?

Velocity Futures offers both and I'm inclined to use X_Trader. I'm wondering if I'm missing anything by not using NinjaTrader, though.

    Thanks in advance, Joel

  2. No.....XTrader is very good so you would not be "missing" anything.

You would not be able to use automation with a basic X_T. Actually, depending on your expertise, holding periods, capitalisation you might be better off with either Zenfire NT or PATS at very worst. For someone like 5Pillars who can be in a trade for as little as 10 seconds the speed of execution at current market price is ESSENTIAL. On the other hand if you swing trade IMO NT @ $50 p/month licence and lower commissions is more appropriate. Merry Xmas!
