EWW is the ETF for this. on the other hand, it is only about 13% above its May peak. correction is due, but i wouldn't bank on it yet.
I swear, you need some mental help. Since we haven't had a dip until today there isn't much to buy. I normally wait for 3-5 days of dips before I buy. As the market continues to move to new highs next year you can reward us with your absurdity just as you are doing now.
come on HG, I TOLD YOU THE NASDAQ would finish in the red today and it did.....i was RIGHT....you were wrong
First of all, as far as I know the market is still open so the close is still in doubt. You assume people buying right now are idiots, but buying the dips is a proven trend strategy. You call them bagholders as they rake in the money. It's the long term holder that may end up holding the bag, not short term or even position traders for that matter. If the market drops 1000 points tomorrow I will still be profitable in my trading accounts, and I will have still made more money than if I sat on the sidelines since November(when you called the sky is falling), and I certainly have more profits now than I would have if I shorted the market at your various timing points. Bottom line is good traders make money in all markets and they take what the market gives them. They don't panic on economic news that has nothing to do with their positions.
remember hg this is the historically strong part of the year and the last 5 days/first 2 days are routinely up----so this is as good as it gets----and even this has petered out---everybody will hold til next year for tax reasons pushing the sell-off til january. But you should have some nice dips to buy in january, and unlike normal january "selling then buying" b/c there was little tax selling in december--there will be far more selling than buying this january! To be frank you borrowed most if not all of your gains for next year during this bs runnup. But look on the bright side you will have lots of losses to sell for tax relief purposes in 2007
