Well, that's really my point. It is a difficult process for a reason. If an issue turns out to be serious enough, an amendment will occur. Until then, we should all stop talking about how obsolete the Constitution may or may not be.

Pretty obvious. His desire to be king is much greater than his intelligence to do so. That's probably a good thing.

I lived in Chicago and worked in the south Loop. I took the train from Elmhurst into the Ogilvie Transportation Center and usually walked across town to Dearborn where I worked. The streets were crowded in the morning but often deserted in the evening and I walked back to the station in the dark without seeing another person on the streets.

It was perfectly safe. I never had a problem or even felt nervous.

People in Chicago talked about the "ring of death" which runs around the city from near the lake on the South Side out to Oak Park and around to the north back out to near the lake. Apparently that is where most of the killings are happening. My train passed through Oak Park and it didn't look that bad. There were alot of businesses and not much trash on the street. It did not look like the blight you see in parts of Philadelphia or Baltimore where it actually looks dangerous.

Most people are so removed from the violence in Chicago that it is almost like it is happening in another city in another state.

  5. As opposed to uninformed ignorant idiots like you trying to suggest what is best for everyone. The only difference is that
you feel Ricter is empowered and that you are emasculated.

Perhaps that explains your need to carry a gun anywhere you go. You are fearful, cowardly, and weak on the inside.

I'm only suggesting we follow what the founding fathers thought best for everyone.
    Rectum is an idiot PERIOD

My "need" stems mostly from failed leftists policies and their unintended consequences.

  7. Funny isn't it that liberals don't feel that way about actual criminal enforcement? Do they say only law enforcement can have a say in search and seizure, interrogations, right to a jury trial, punishments, parole, etc?

They pull the same trick with the military. When John Kerry, who served in Nam, was the candidate, only people who had served in combat had the authority to speak on such things. When draft dodger Bill Clinton ran against war heroes Bush and Bob Dole or when Obama ran against Mccain, different story. Then they mocked service and tried to paint their opponents as old guys marching in Memorial Day parades.

We don't tell you that you have to own a gun. We just don't want you telling us we can't. This is pretty much SOP for the left - always tell others what they must accept or adhere to. The right just usually wants to be left alone. Do whatever the hell you want, keep it out of my life. I certainly don't want my life impacted or - God forbid - surrounded by twats such as you.

  9. Best way to get the right behind gun control is to fully and legally arm all African Americans and encourage them to bear their arms openly in accordance with law. You will probably feel a little differently then. You might even go running home to your momma.

  10. They already are fully and legally armed if they choose to be, jackass.
