Steve Wynn lets Obama have it in this truth laden rant. ....this administration is the greatest wet blanket to business, and progress and job creation in my lifetime... ...my customers and the companies that provide the vitality for the hospitality and restaurant industry, in the United States of America, they are frightened of this administration.... ...until we change the tempo and the conversation from Washington, it's not going to change. And those of us who have business opportunities and the capital to do it are going to sit in fear of the President. And a lot of people don't want to say that. They'll say, God, don't be attacking Obama. Well, this is Obama's deal and it's Obama that's responsible for this fear in America. We'll see, sadly he's probably got another 4 or so years to create a credit bubble of his own and waste a couple trillion dollars to "create" a few million jobs that shouldn't exist like his predecessor. A pile of dog shit smells the same whether its in a red bag or blue bag. Find it amusing that Wynn some how sees a difference when its the same dog shit and the result is the same, he gets rich and the middle class gets poorer.
http://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2009/01/09/bush-on-jobs-the-worst-track-record-on-record/ Bush On Jobs: The Worst Track Record On Record By WSJ Staff President George W. Bush entered office in 2001 just as a recession was starting, and is preparing to leave in the middle of a long one. Thatâs almost 22 months of recession during his 96 months in office. His job-creation record wonât look much better. The Bush administration created about three million jobs (net) over its eight years, a fraction of the 23 million jobs created under President Bill Clintonâs administration and only slightly better than President George H.W. Bush did in his four years in office. Hereâs a look at job creation under each president since the Labor Department started keeping payroll records in 1939. The counts are based on total payrolls between the start of the month the president took office (using the final payroll count for the end of the prior December) and his final December in office. Because the size of the economy and labor force varies, we also calculate in percentage terms how much the total payroll count expanded under each president. The current President Bush, once taking account how long heâs been in office, shows the worst track record for job creation since the government began keeping records.
Barack Obama has lost a total of -4.2 million jobs per year, making him, to date, the worst President in history. G.W. Bush actually created 1.1 million jobs per year during his eight-year term. Bill Clinton is responsible for 2.3 million jobs in each of his years. George H. W. Bush can lay claim to 881,000 during each of his four years. Reagan gets credit for 2.0 million jobs per year. And finally, even Jimmy Carter can boast in having created 2.6 million. Net job creation is so much better than, economy killing, Progressive policies that there really is no comparison.
