He's right if he thinks I've gone off on my own because what choice did I have. He basically said he couldn't help me because I have a family and I work a lot of hours
Well you are always welcome to post here if you want some company. I think learning this method does require a lot of screen time. If you are carving out the time to do replays around your schedule you can definitely learn it. DBP has written enough on multiple sites that you can basically ask him questions using the search feature.
Thanks green, I follow most of the threads so I am learning a lot and having some success with it but not ready to go live but getting closer
in this post you said, nothing to comment on,up or down, this leaves the reader to assume you dont see the large footprint, the longer the trendline the higher chance of the largest players participating, which equates to larger moves, another way to look at it is a few traders at each price, the small , the mids, all the players at major supp res, the small ,mids, large, and banks, oif you dont get a strong reaction to a major supp/res, what does that tell you,at that point if you anticipate a large pile of buyers or sellers ,you are prepared for a nice move/ profit,if you don't see that, it tells you the validity of that supp/res....always start with the biggest pic and work your way back are you watching this line from sept at appx 3588 ? http://imgur.com/8Mcs56h
Going to keep working with SLA. My goals are to get 10 replays in a week. 5 sessions simming the live market, one replay each trading day and then 1 or 2 on the weekends and I should hit my numbers. I still have some testing to do and I am occasionally breaking the rules so I need to solidify them better in my mind. Ammo - I appreciate you posting in my thread. I can tell that you are trying to be helpful and I agree that the larger picture is important even when trading off the 1 minute chart. I look at dailies and hourlies each day and also keep up a weekly chart. I will repost them sometime this weekend. We can see on the hourly that we almost made it from the upper channel all the way to the lower in one day. Have a good weekend everyone.
I should mention that on my replays I'm going to try not drawing any lines so if I post some confused charts I apologize
