Praetorian had a number of big scores in penny stocks back in 2003-2006. It looks like all of his positions simultaneously collapsed in this current market cycle however. I remember him to be quite a good intraday trader as well. I wonder how well he could've done had he merely stayed with that instead of becoming a money manager.
Harris, as I pretty clearly remember,-rarely messed with penny stox. Only in situations when trying to find a bottom for big institutions that had colllapsed. As I said before he should have stayed with day trading. I personally dont believe he had the head for research and trusted his instinct far too much. I remember him loading up on something--and I said why--do they have anything proprietary??NO -but it will be good or something like this was his answer--something to do with windows....... Aside from this he provided a bunch of us with some exciting days trading together--12k---15k. he had those days. He was quick and nimble-and could get out quicker than all of us.
Why no THV-no--no I dont happen to know that name--Do U know coh--well back in those days--I made a fortune betting on it...... I probably know Harris back then better than anybody--Dude U see how many replies U have and how many i have???Read some of mine and we'll talk.....Hey surf --thanks for those off the bell good ones--limbo
Tsk, tsk, tsk....Can't believe you all are underestimating Harris. He'll bounce back. Setbacks happen. hey prae, I know you still lurk here. contact me I have a strategy to share/discuss. I owe you.
wow, i dont get it... where is this animosity coming from? have you invested in the fund and lost $$?
humm...wonder if anyone read this story before investing http://www.observer.com/node/41848 he has done quite well for a kid...however lets face it pretty much anyone can make money in a bull market. Much like Timmay with the penny stocks.
You are making the wrong assumptions. I hope Prae speaks up. He knows trading not just bull markets. Comparing him to Timmay is absurd. Quite laughable.
Regardless of Praetorian's fund performance he's accomplished more at his age than most here will ever do in their lifetimes. Evidently he had a good upbringing and is worth his mettle.
