    Thus:

Trade what you see, not what you think.

  2. The problem is now you see it, now you don't.

Everyone who has been around long enough knows this.

  4. Don't you guys think that this is all Ex-US equity managers selling to square up equity and avoid currency risk? Its what I would be doing if I was in their position. You can manage the currency risk, but less so the counterparty risk so perhaps better to take it off the table for now.

Anyone with a clue seeing flows?

Options are a small element of the overall scheme.

The retail proportion even smaller. I think YOU can relate to small.

  7. I'm getting long if we make another new low... looks like this is going to be a intraday bear flag now... if we break to make a new low I will try to get long (seems like it will be around 2pm) for the fade. I expect to test yst lows today.

Even if it's a trend down day I like the risk-reward being long near the close... doubt there will be panic selling.

If we do close below ysts low then we'll have an outside day on the daily chart... interesting. Prob will catch a lot of TA traders short. Debt = inflation imo, not USD strength.

In other news this USD strength is nice considering my parents just flew to Barcelona for their summer vacation.

  8. The only short in existence which doesn't have a theoretically unlimited risk profile.

  9. I really want this market to take a dump... make a new low... and when the momentum fades I will buy it. Def not looking to fade any rallies.

I'm curious when the volume picks back up how much momentum there will be on the puke or rally.
