Bond futures were moving hard and fast today. Always something else to trade. Ever since I added ZB, ZN, EUR, GBP, and JPY to the instruments I watch, I've had a lot less boring days. Ik
Yep, I should have stayed in my ZB trades longer. Instead I was eating tons of losses on stupid options positions. If I had the guts, I could have double up on ZB contracts and rode it all the way up to make up the losses on my options. But i was thinking,"Today is NOT the day to bet big when you are already down so much!" But that was precisely the kind of bet that would have made $$ back in spades and more! So, when you are losing you tend to be conservative but sometimes there are offsetting trades to bail you out. But you don't take it cuz you are psychologically impaired with the huge losses. Who says PSYCHOLOGY doesn't affect trading is bsing?! haha
Darn, I wish they would CALL me so I could sleep late when there are going to be range bound days like today. Meanies
