Your concern was exactly mine, until it dawned on me that we may be saved by our ridiculous, fucked up, wonky donkey way of running federal elections with the States in charge and consequently different rules and procedures in every state. Were the elections run by say one federal agency with uniformity throughout the nation Trump would simple take over that agency with an executive order and time his move to make it unlikely Courts would act in time to stop him. As it is, its going to be much harder to fix elections with every state making its own rules; our wonky donkeyness may save us.
Excuse me, but it seems necessary to point out that Biden wasn't on the 2024 ballot, so refusing to vote for him in 2024 was a no brainer. The actual democratic candidates name was Harris. Your choice in 2024 was between a twice impeached, convicted felon, narcissist, sociopath and pathological liar or a much younger, energetic non-felon with a long record of competent public service.
Kamala I wouldn't do anything different than Joe Biden/Joe Biden was a great President Harris was running as a 2nd Biden term. There was also the need to let future Democrat Presidents know with certainty that if they governed like Joe Biden they wouldn't be getting a 2nd term. Us Sanders/Warren progressives gave Biden and The Democrat Party plenty warning we would not be voting for them if Biden didn't change course.Biden and The Democrat Party dared us to stay home or vote 3rd party and let Trump win.We accepted the challenge and don't regret it.
