Why the hell would you think I went to Wharton (that's what people actually in the business world call the school), you're off by a couple thousand miles! You really are a special snowflake though, most of us stopped comparing dick sizes in middle school and I think you're the first person I've ever encountered who measure their worth based on the cost of their computer server!
I’m comfortble with saying that there are no countries that have a legal system like you propose. With that, I’m done arguing with somebody about something I’ve lived for 25 years. Consider yourself having won If that makes you feel better. Perhaps next argue with the Walton family about the best way to set up a store.
Oh was it UChicago? My bad, but no difference really. An MBA. Lol, you want me to list links to where you constantly brag about your educational achievements? Give it a break, pal. You are as hypocritical as it possibly gets. I simply put you in your place. You brag but never provided a thing to substantiate your claims. And no, lol, I don't wanna come to your office. I measure my commercial success by the return I achieve on my investment. So far given what you provided you run a mailbox firm, rent a car, live in a 2 bed room townhouse, and married a dumpster diver you picked up on your stop in Hawaii. And you hide where you live because it's probably in a 1000 dollar per month neighborhood. That's how much evidence you put up. Give it a rest pal, you constantly compare dicks and when someone calls you out you run for your safe space.
When did I even discuss race as an issue in this ...wtf is wrong with you? Maybe your college degree should be stripped because you cannot stay on topic, avoid tangents or make sense . re read what I said.
Many countries have a predominantly statutory legal system with a very well defined and extensive civil law code that is constantly amended. Very few judicial rulings are challenged there. Japan for starters? It's not about winning or losing. It's simply about acknowledging there are better ways to do things.
Relax, for some reason my response was in reply to Sig's post #84 but somehow it got mixed up with a really to yours. Apologies. Can you accept a sincere apology? Clearly my reply was directly in reference to post #84 which discusses race in its entirety.
Yes, Japan’s system sounds splendid. “After being arrested in Japan, you can be held for up to 23 days without hearing any charges. You might not see a lawyer once during this time, and chances are you will experience relentless, unmonitored interrogation. The country’s notoriously secretive criminal justice system relies on confessions, and produces a conviction rate of more than 99%.” “Enzai!” Lol. https://qz.com/693437/japans-notoriously-ruthless-criminal-justice-system-is-getting-a-face-lift/
Yes it works very well and it is pretty fair. As said nothing is perfect but I take the Japanese justice system any given day over the American one. Sure, when in trouble with the law whether you are broke or have 100 million makes zero difference, no different treatment (see treatment of crooked Ghosn). Law abiding citizens and residents are treated impartially and fairly. I lived in Japan for over 10 years, worked as salaried employee as trader for several banks, started up my own business, bought a house in Tokyo, and obtained my permanent residence. Had to deal with many different aspects of the Japanese legal system. Always felt it worked very well. Let's agree to disagree.
No, that would be akin to agreeing with “there is more than one argument” when it comes to evolution and lifting intelligent design to Darwin’s theory. I will let the fact you believe “coercing confessions works ok” speak for itself regarding Japans system, which they themselves are saying needs to be reformed, and for your knowledge re legal systems in general. Stick to trading as you purport yourself to be an expert there. No one can be an expert in everything. (See how I did that?)
