I am interested in getting ideas or examples of a trading plan. I would like to know what should be included or maybe someone knows a post in the past that included a trading plan. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  2. I would recommend:

    Mark Douglas' books:

"Disciplined Trader" and "Trading in the Zone"

    www.markdouglas.com

    Dr. Van Tharp's

    "Peak Performance Course"

    www.iitm.com

    and

    Tony Robbins' tapes

I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for, but it helped put me on the right path.

Your plan should include your money management plan. How much are you going to lose on a trade. Stick with your money management through the use of stops. Never increase the size of your stop loss.

Your plan should also include your cut off point, the point that is decided in terms of time or dollars where you say you either are or aren't a trader.

I'd like to thank everyone for their helpful posts and especially Mr. Subliminal. Thanks again.
