When the 3rd most conservative county in the nation was not able to elect one Republican to The House, there is massive voter fraud. Nuff said.
I get your point, and you are correct, the republicans in Arizona dismissed claims of fraud. The problem we have and why some of us are skeptical is that republicans have a long history of stoically accepting crooked results rather than making a scene and being perceived as sore losers. When dems lose a close race, they go full nuclear. Pelosi is threatening not to seat the guy from NC who apparently won a close race. To my recollection, republicans have never done that. There have been a lot of attempts to make voting easier. I am willing to accept that many of them were well-meaning. The problem now however is that we have such an enormous problem with illegal aliens and states granting them standard forms of ID such as drivers' licenses, that we need to drastically tighten up voting. If states have to shell out more money for many more voting stations, that seems like a small price to pay, instead of letting a big percentage of people vote by mail, etc which opens up all sorts of avenues for fraud.
I dont think they would be perceived as sore losers if they uncovered actual fraud to be honest. But both parties cry fraud so much and never produce anything to show it except that their candidate lost. I do think the mail in crap is outdated except for overseas military/government personnel/college students etc. Also need to move voting to a Saturday. I would say most people mail in/vote early due to work/school conflicts. Since voting is not federally standardized we get this shit show every 2 years.
Not too many are going to uncover evidence of voter fraud since local authorities are complicit and free of oversight on such a local level. In 2020 there will be a focus on tilting places like Michigan and Wisconsin. They disregarded the idea that Trump could win there and didn't cheat enough. You've already seen that with the defeat of Scott Walker.
GOP lost seats because many GOP are not happy with the direction Trump has taken the party. It is not fraud, it is a combination of a more energized Democratic base, more independent voters swinging the other way and not so far right GOPs rejecting the lack of balls Congress has shown (I saw Paul Ryan on a milk carton yesterday under MISSING). When Dems win, it is not fraud. It sounds like sour grapes to say, they win only by cheating. No such thing anymore as a pure red or blue state, that has been proven true in the last 3 elections. They did not cheat enough...that sounds more like a snowflake comment than what Dems are spouting.
You are just not seeing things transparently enough. Even with the cheating though Trump's midterm outperformed 85 percent of midterms in the history of the country!---Mind you, the country now is very close to being lost. We only have Mr Trump, a few conservative senators and a slightly traditional leaning Supreme Court standing in the way of this loss.
More likely the working class whites Trump attracted were turned off by the way the establishment republicans tried to impede Trump and push donor interests. They had a once in a lifetime opportunity to remake the party and seize a permanent governing majority, but getting a big tax cut for Silicon Valley monopolists who despise them and keeping borders open for illegals were more important to them.
