    Just to clear things up
We have had a boat refugees problem for about 10 years because of the previous centre left government.with the new government in charge any boat refugee ( economic migrant), the Australian navy tows the boat back to Indonesia.so from 10000 economic migrants per year it has gone to zero.we have a few thousand economic migrants that have reached Australia (from the previous government)but have been transferred to a tiny pacific nation called Nauru. We want to close it down but need to get rid of the economic Migrants.
Australia and the US have made a deal a few months ago to take these refugees and for us to take refugees from Central America and 20000 refugees from Syria.Basically our Government wants to send a message to the refugees(economic migrants) that if your destination is Australia you will not get here by boat.we will choose which refugees come here.
The US government will choose approximately 1300 who to take and the rest the Australian government will issue 20 year visas for Nauru or a free trip back to their own country.
ps They are not refugees they are economic migrants from the middle east.refugees do not travel through half a dozen countries by plane, stay in hotels to reach their destination and spend 20000 dollars to get to Australia.
Australia is the 51st state of the US.With Donald Trump as president nothing will change.
This has nothing to do with Donald Trump,he is not a president until January the 20th.its a deal done with the Obama administration.

Christopher Columbus didn't discover America, Vikings were there first and Native Americans via Asia before that. But hey, Italian/Spanish ignorance is a well known fact.

I don't know what the Vikings discovered, but it was't America. America was named after Amerigo Vespucci, an Italian explorer. Were the Vikings too dumb to give whatever they discovered a name?

  5. Send any message you want but don't expect us to pay for it. We don't want your rejects. This is the US we're talking about, not Gambia. As for the central American refugees, first of all you are making a bad trade. Second, you're not doing us any favors. We're about to shut the border.

Try using an English to American dictionary before you read any of my posts, this aint England and we don't speak English. If you worked for the government you would understand because you get the day off. Speaking of ignorance, who discovered Asia? I read Shogun but I forget his name.

Yes it was, no-one knows what they named it because they weren't vanity obsessed like the south Europeans.
Does naming something mean it belongs to me? "interesting" logic.
